EASILY the best player on the field...that made me feel a little better...haven't played organized baseball in 3 years and these kids can't even hang...damn video games era is not NEARLY as athletic as we were...

It's good to know that I missed that era by a few years...

I'm not a parent i've said that. I am however of mind that how you grow up and what you have seen molds you as a person. I am not an uncle but i do have those i am like an uncle to. A couple i am somewhat of a mentor to. That's how i grew up. Without a father figure a guy is left with possible mentors to latch onto. Whether that be friends that the father was a good example to follow or uncles, grandpa's,etc. Guys you work with that train you at a certain job and that grows into them sharring lifes experiences and trying to point you in the right direction. That's how i grew up.

Now on the flipside i have seen the kids of parents who shouldn't be parents. Some even in the family. And i am of mind that if it were not for laws and morals and the thought that i am not the one who should control whether or not said person is parental material or not i can honestly say i've though about taking care of a child's problem parent and they would be better off with someone else because of the severity of the shit they live with. And good or bad i believe how you grow up plays a big part on who you become.

That's part of why if i am going to have kids i want their mother to be a good person and someone i could trust because whether it be examples on this board or in real life i don't want to go through the struggle alone. If that's the case i probably won't risk it.

Please don't take this as preaching or something like that. I rarely let anyone into my personal thoughts or experiences on life. I just used to drink and it was out of control in my case. Not saying you compare in your case. It's just honest thoughts on the matter.

All you can do is have fun with life and do what you believe is best. For the record i could give a shit less on race and dating. I don't have that much experience in it but some. In my case she had kids and was a shitty mother and person the more i got to know her so i never reached a level of caring too much for her just lust and the enjoyment of ****ing her. Didn't stop me for legitly feeling sorrow that her kids had such a shitty mom though.

That's the most important thing to remember is there is nothing wrong with having fun or living that type of lifestyle. Just remember when it comes to responsibilities to own up to them. Also back to race if you do run into that problem and want to try to change the minds of those who disagree, it will be much easier if you can show personal quality and respect and responsibility of you and her before you deal with race and all of that bullshit.

Again, not preaching. Just saying i've kept my eyes open whether it be friends or classmates and how things have turned out in their situations when it comes to marriage, relationships, and kids. Their choices in general and how i would feel if i put myself in their shoes.

My buddy is 38 and still dates the 18 to 25 year olds they're fun. If you work hard and save your money you should be able to purchase your own teenager.

When I was 31 I dated an 18. It was sweet.

When I was 20 I dated a 17 year old and everybody was freaking out thinking I was going to go to jail. I didn't quite get it, I even looked up the laws and everything. But now, if you are like 30 and you do a 19 year old, you don't even get the same stigmata, you are clapped at and adored by your fellow man.

I'm only 5 years older than my long time Girlfriend. I yet somethings pop culture wise and music, we are light years apart. We still relate in a lot of levels but something that we miss on are surprising you wouldn't think 5 years is a gap but it is. But I've never dated anyone older or the same age as I, always at least 2 years, and no more then 6 years my junior.
