I did , 2 years ago when we had a week long ice storm, we had up to 30 people staying here just because I had a generator and heat, TV's, lights, food.

Yep, last big one Springfield had, I was without power for 5 days. Some were without power for weeks. Funny part of it was that the roads were drivable. It was just that the ice weighed down branches so much that they would snap and take down electric poles/lines with them. I think 80% of town lost power that year.
