When was Haley in Tampa?

Muir was with Haley in New York.

The level of suck this franchise has reached suggests it's BOTH of their faults. |
Would you let Romeo coach if he dumped Cassel?
|
Offensive/Defensive Schemes: Crennel will continue to call the defensive plays while Bill Muir and Jim Zorn will work together on developing an offensive game plan.
“I think the best way for us to have a chance to be the most successful at this moment is to not create too many distractions,” Crennel said. “Me being named the head coach is a distraction. So, I don’t want to have a distraction on offense, a distraction on defense and a distraction on the whole team.” Crennel went on to say that he’d take a different approach going forward if permanently named the head coach, but wanted to keep as much consistency as he could over the final three games of the season.” this scares the hell outta me at least I don't know any GB fans |

If they stick with Cassel we'll have a total house cleaning after two more years. Then we get to see if Clark can hire a GM. |

What's scary about that? No need to go try to install some new offense with three games left in the season, and Romeo has been calling the defensive plays all season. I'm fairly confident Bill Muir will not be calling plays next season, regardless of the head coach decision. |
No thanks.

Haley was the one who determined that he couldn't work with Gailey and canned him. Haley always talks about his closeness with Mo Carthon. Haley is the one who didn't like the job his first WR coach was doing, so he demoted him midseason and replaced him with Ritchie Anderson. Haley is the one who brought in Mike Clark to run the weight program. I think Haley had a lot of latitude in terms of who he wanted to keep and who he didn't.
Of course Haley also doesn't strike me as a guy who has a huge connection of friends in the coaching business outside of the Parcells tree, so it's debatable how many coaches actually wanted to work for him. That to me was my biggest issue with Haley... |
Muir was with Dick Curl in London when it was bombed
|
He's 64 years old. I just don't see why we would make that hire. If they do I need to take a NFL vacation.
|
This has all the makings of the best offseason EVER!!!

From the Browncos to the Chieowns
|
No. Absolutely not.
|
Hopefully Crennel is let go at the end of the season. Our offense is shit, but our defense has been pretty mediocre since he got here.

Most of our problems on D this year were needing Houston to develop and missing Berry. |

Romeo - good at X's and O's. Potentially runs an obsolete defense. Players like him.
Horrible head coach. He is not a motivator. You think KC looked unprepared? Cleveland always look flat-out bored. |

I might just play a ticket this week. Heh |

Players like Kendrick Lewis could have had a better showing had Eric Berry not get injured. Not an excuse for him but in evaluating and missing a guy that can make the impact Eric Berry did, we can over look that they are missing a team player component for this defense to work. I'm exited for the return of Eric Berry with Kendrick Lewis in the back field with him. It really starts and stops with the QB imo on how we can evalute the team as a hole unit. |

I think Haley took a team without traditional "playoff talent" to the playoffs last year, and that was impressive...

Pioli will hire someone with Crennel's demeanor. He's not getting a young hot head. He wants a professional on the sideline.

To me the head coach isn't as important as OC/DC and QB.

That Romeo has been angling for the job for quite a while actually. |

see Todd Haleys 2010 record with a legit OC even with Cassel at QB. |
