Everybody goes through rough times. You're not alone. Hang out with people that want to see you succeed, and draw some energy/positivity from them. Avoid people that suck the life out of you. Wake up tomorrow knowing you're a better man for facing trials than those that have had the best things in life handed to them with no real effort.

Oddly enough, there are a lot of Kevins that have that same pic. Maybe it's a Kevin thing.

Perhaps I should do an "apricot BMW" key word search.

Why can I not send you a PM? Are you blocking me from PMs? Why do you hate me?

Market research.

DeezNutz 04-17-2012 01:10 PM

I'm sorry you're going through a tough stretch, but you're intelligent and articulate, which means there's little doubt that you can see most things through and end up being just fine.

Graystoke 04-17-2012 01:18 PM

Wishing you well!

If your life sucks then it must mean you are living, because rarely is life 100% happy.
We all go through tough times and no one gets out alive.

Hang in there.

Whenever you get anxious or things get stressful.....One day at a time, one foot in front of the other.

And take at least a little time, regardless of commitments, for yourself Relax, enjoy, kick-back for a bit-- nose is back to the grindstone soon. Whatever you do, DO NOT ever take this place too seriously.

Otherwise, you'll go crazy. And crazy will lead you to bad places.

The good news is Matt casshole can't play forever. Wait a minute, he can't, can he?? I sure hope not.

patteeu 04-17-2012 03:15 PM

Bummer, man. That job as GSA Morale & Travel Officer seemed like such a good idea at the time.

I hope things turn up for you soon. I'll be rooting for you.

But in the meantime, let's take advantage of your current state of melancholy. Is there any new music that's particularly poignant to you at the moment? My theory is that some of the music that moves us the most is music we discover when we're either having a great time or having a horrible time. Maybe it's just me though.

What do people like you do for a good time? I don't know a ton about you, but I know that you vigorously defend Obama. What you need to do is figure out what people who defend Obama do when they need to blow off a little steam and do that.

Edit: Here it is....just be thankful you're not this guy :D

I can relate. Had so many $3itty things happen in about 3 months I pretty much lost it.

The one good thing is that about 2 years removed there really isn't much that bothers me anymore. After having a 12 month stretch of hell one bad day is a ****ing speed bump...

No matter what challenge life throws at you, punch it in the nuts. Life is to short to sweat the small shit.

Hog's Gone Fishin 04-25-2012 07:50 PM

dude, I've faced foreclosure of everything I've spent my life working toward. Really! The key in life is to never , ever give up, always do whats right, and don't let greed rule your life. We are all here on this planet as particules and it seems to me that we just are here to do stuff ,whatever it is , until we die. And the disruption you are experiencing now wil not matter in a short amount of time. Life is good!

Hoover 04-25-2012 08:54 PM

Where to start?

1. You will do anything to get the Chiefs to pick Weeden...

2. Shouldn't this be posted in Draft Planet?

3. Sorry to break this to you but this thread is a REPOST. I'm confident some reerun has already started a "My Life Sucks" thread.

4. Get your head out of your ass, I've been looking forward to some Direckshun draft awesomeness after Thursday and Friday night! Look, I don't have the time to follow all this shit and I've come to rely on you. You can't fail me now that the draft is about to start!

5. Have you ever heard of Girltown Espresso? I hear they have live cameras if you are in to that. Just stay away from the morning shift.

6. Life never sucks, but people in your life can suck. Surround yourself with quality people, you've earned it.

7. Seriously, you think your life is bad, the largest TV in my house in 27"

8. No really, I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed your draft coverage. I love your passion and dedication. I can't tell you how often I have sought your stuff out in the last week. Amazing stuff. Hang in there buddy.

This.

If you live long enough you WILL lose people close to you. You WILL lose things that you worked hard for.

These events will hurt you, impact you, and change you.

Just don't let them take anything away from you...

I just found out that one of my top "to bang" girls is a party girl.

I got tears in my eyes as I type this. She is really freaking hot and I'm not sharing, so...

And that's the worst thing this week.

However, if you want to compare worst days ever, I've got about 99% of this board beat (at least for one singular day), so...I'm still breathing, still going on, and you post some of the best draft shit ever here.

Keep truckin' brother.

I've had past jobs where I got bord with the task at hand and start slacking untill it starts getting hard again or some guy starts yelling at me to get my shit together. Usually I winged it through but can't say I have always put forth top efforts unless it was a contest then I would rise to the occasion and kick ass.
