Again, that's easy to say because YOU'VE BEEN THERE.

Alright, I will ask you a question then.... What would you rather do, go to a SB get your ass kicked, take a 100% nosedive from the Elite to a piss poor team and then still suck a decade later or would you rather be sorta in it most years with a chance to win a playoff game?

RINGLEADER 09-24-2012 02:08 PM

Was watching the game again -- it's not surprising that Hali is having trouble applying pressure when they double and triple team him. Fortunately Houston is bringing the heat from the other side.

Justin, BTW, is now third in the NFL for sacks.

The Superbowl is about 25% talent and 75% Luck of the draw. You Chief fans had the talent in the 90's but not the luck, Your team or My team or any other team in the west is not Superbowl material this year.

Have fun, drink a beer and enjoy your wins man, when it's your time to play in the big game again you will be there.

R8ers, laying down some soothing info. Easy for you to say, Carson Palmer looked 400 lightyears ahead of Matt Cassel yesterday.

Maybe so but he has to if we are gonna win, we have no defensive backfield & we couldn't get to Big Ben all day except 1 or 2 times but I must admit, those times were huge.

When I watch Cassel I think he focuses to much on the man he is going to throw it to, needs a little pump fake action and the ability to look off the defenders... That's just my observation.

JC was a beast yesterday but I agree you need a better QB to prevent JC being used up....

We lose and we're in last place.

Probably.

Let's just say we make it to the playoffs this year. You know what will happen? Cassel will fold like he did with the Ravens two years ago. The guy just doesn't have the chops to be a legitimate NFL QB, and as long as he is running the show on offense, this team will never ever be a winner.

I still cant root for them to lose. Im not going to jump to conclusions after 3 games in either. Cassel could and should put it together this year and play decent/well/alright enough to win 8+ and hopefully the division. Saying the rest of the team plays good too. We need him next year as a good backup once (insert rookie qb here, hopefully Geno Smith) takes over right right right?!?!??

The former.

You know why? Because we've had the LATTER, MULTIPLE TIMEs, and I haven't seen a playoff win since I was in ****ing college.

It would be nice to have a QB like Palmer that could make the simple plays look simple.

Heck, not one time during that game did he forget the right direction to the end zone.

All kidding aside, I thought Palmer looked really sharp yesterday. That doesn't mean he will next week. Cassel had a game like that once, Seattle, 2010.

What? What? How can Moeaki have played at Iowa and for the Chiefs and not know route running?

Again, what?

1) I just looked at RB stats on this team and you are right -- they are all getting it done. This team actually has a run game now. But hey, you are a douche either way:D

2) Moeaki is not running what I would call good routes right now, I call it crap routes, actually. I did not like the pick initially because of his injury history during college and then during Chiefs TC, but 2010 proved Moeaki is a polished route runner and a lot more. He isn't blocking worth shit either and I think it's because he does not have the PB down.

richpjr 09-24-2012 04:42 PM

I wonder how the Chargers respond to that game. They destroyed the Titans the week before only to get destroyed by Atlanta (who looks scary good).

Ming the Merciless 09-24-2012 04:43 PM

Do you WATCH the games? Why would you have to research this stat?

Question on the ESPN AFCW Standings:

SD 2-1, 1-0 in the division
DEN 1-2, 0-0 in the division
OAK 1-2, 0-1 in the division
KC 1-2, 0-0 in the division

Why does ESPN have the Chiefs last in the divisional standings when they have no losses in the division? Why are they behind Oakland when the Raiders have the worst divisional record?

Well, forgive me here -- that game was sloppy as hell in my book. Do stats tell you that? good for you, sunshine.

What does "sloppy" have to do with the fact that Jamaal Charles ran for 233 yards?

JFC, you appear more idiotic with each successive post.

OctoberFart 09-24-2012 06:42 PM

You guys went from suck for Barkley to we are winning the division which will lead to we can possibly win the Super Bowl.

But isn't division record the 1st controlling factor in division standing?

The Chiefs have as much of a winning percentage 0 to the Raiders 0 in the AFC West.

Chiefs are 0, but Oakland is -1

Guess maybe only wins count - not losses?

BryanBusby 09-25-2012 02:21 AM

It's based off a percentage and 0 divided by anything is still 0.
