How would CP react if Cassel had 69 yards halfway into the 4th quarter? With 41 yards coming on one play.
|
Warner never did shit in the NFL until his late 20s.
It would never happen, but I'd still do it. I loathe Kasl so much. I don't care if he dies, retires, whatever. He needs to get the **** away from my team. |

Wilson sucked tonight.

2 good games = annointed

wish we had Russel Wilson's luck

Quote:
Wish we had Russell Wilson's refs. Luck is a tipped pass going 60 yards for a TD. Nothing lucky about refs giving you the game. |
I've changed my mind. I'm sold. Wilson is the first QB in the history of the game to throw an INT and win the game. Sign him up.
|
Such a meh game to make this statement on.

A 3-headed QB monster consisting of Todd Blackledge, Elvis Grbac, and L i n Elliot > Cassel

Wut ?
And miss out on Todd Blackledge becoming of age ? What the heck is wrong with you ?:harumph: |
Every time I advocated for Wilson last year (usually in threads where I voiced how I thought/think Tannehill is garbage), I was ignored or called an idiot. He was my favorite in the draft after Luck and RG3.

We be so JIMP happy we'd drafted one we'd let him suck for at least 2 years... |
Golden Tate > Dexter

Lol man I didn't see Wilson's lack of yardage tonight before I wrote that last post. :)

Or how Bailey being there provides push that doesn't let Drew step up in the pocket. Just because it doesn't count as a pressure doesn't mean it isn't valuable. :) |
Man, I wish we had Robert Griffin IV.

Call me when Dex scores 2 TDs in a game, or EVER catches a 40-yard TD.

Tate had two in ONE GAME. |
Point stands. This place is reeruned.

McCluster had 100 more yards last season than Tate has in his career. |
Ermegerd Gowden Taint

This place pimps a lot of our TRUE studs.
Charles, Houston, Bowe, etc. Stop sucking off the marginal players like DMC and Baldwin, who have done jack in this league. At one point this year they were going to combine for 1,600 yards of offense according to some people. LMAO |
Quote:
As an actual wide receiver? No contest, Golden Tate blows Dex away. |
Quote:
Golden Tate is a young, ascending player. |
Quote:
Tate has all of 36 more receiving yards in his career than McCluster. By that logic Tate is better than Frank Gore because since he has been in the league he has more receiving yards than Gore. After all, as a true WR Tate is better. |

I mean yeah, he's better than Matt Cassel, but the Hawks should be 1-2 right now and used their defense and special teams to dominate the Cowboys, not their offense. Russell Wilson is being considered a deity around here because he picked on Jalil Brown. Well shit - I'm fairly certain even KU could drive the ball against Jalil Brown. I've watched all 3 Seahawks games so far this year and I'm just not impressed by Wilson at all. He's been bailed out by 100 different things to this point. If Russell Wilson is your QB, you're in marginally better shape than the Chiefs, but you still need a new QB, IMO. I'd be very very surprised if he's still a starting QB by 2014. |
Quote:
Completely unfair. As a WR, Dex has 34 career catches in 14 games, and probably 1/3 of those came with him coming from the backfield in 2010. |
Too bad. His versatility was part of the selection. Yards stand.
|
OK, whatever. Tate is still better as a WR.
|
Quote:
Career receiving yards: McCluster - 679 yds Tate - 715 yds It doesn't matter where he is listed as a starter one bit. What am I missing? As a receiver, Calvin Johnson is better than Ray Rice. But who would you rather have? |

Comparing RB receiving yards to WR receiving yards is comparing apples to oranges. Dex sucks as a WR because he's not very good at beating CBs and is useless going down the field. He can produce some receiving yards as a RB because he's matched up on linebackers, can catch screens, etc. That doesn't translate to his play as a WR. He has about 300 yards as an actual WR, doing WR things, running routes. Period. End of discussion. |

But idiots like you love to bring that up as a plus for him. ROFL |

He's a wide receiver now, and nothing else. Not a RB. Not a KR. And now that he's sustained serious injury twice in three seasons, he looks like the bust I had him tabbed to be. The end of Dex...is coming. |

The jury is out on Baldwin. I haven't said one word about him, nor did I see him referenced in the ongoing discussion. And I've been one of THE most-vocal people calling HackJob an idiot for the way he's beat the dead horse on Bowe. Bowe is a stud, he deserves to flex. The discussion, that I saw, was about Dexter McCluster and while I appreciate what he brings to this team, he's not Golden Tate and never will be. |

So I will say again, Calvin Johnson is better than Ray Rice at doing WR things, but Ray Rice is still the better football player that most people would prefer to have. |

You can't have it both ways. |

Ray Rice is a better RB. Dex is fairly shitty as a WR and a RB, so he has that going for him. Jackass of all trades. |
