Extensions mean absolutely 100% nothing when it comes to firing someone. You pay the money to fire him if he is that bad, plain and simple!

If we end the season 1-15 I don't see any way that Clark can sell Pioli to the fanbase. He'll have used 4 years to make the team worse than when he got it.

If we don't win several games (we won't) he's gone.

Yep. Firing a GM mid-term is merely a risk factor that you consider when you hire. Clark's biggest concern will be finding a replacement ... not the cost of the divorce.
