Everyone else: The two best teams should be in the championship game.

I don't hate the SEC. But in a world without playoffs, there is no reason to have two teams from the same conference represent.

The point of the conference championship is to create a playoff qualifier. Not having a qualifier is like picking the red sox and Yankees to play in the world series because they were the best two teams in baseball in a given year.

Now that they are about to have a playoff in 2014... Fine. It's like having a wild card berth.

But again... This dumb argument that the best two teams should play. Most sports don't send their best two teams to a championship game. They send the best team from the conference or division.
