Yeah but I don't think his mrs is going to enjoy watching him do a line off a $1500 call girl's stomach. :D

Florida dude. Beaches, ocean, sun etc. etc.

Got some of the best beaches in the world where I live.

I would want to do more than just sit on the beach. Care to be a tourguide? :)

Disney, Universal and Sea World are an hour away. Miami 3 hour drive. Daytona 2 hours. Space coast 1.5 hours.

Suppose to be 81 degrees tomorrow. Frezzing rain up there, correct? Sitting on a beach sounds pretty good to me.

Where ever we end up going I just want to stay in the area. Keep it simple and relaxed. I've never been much of a beach person though. But if there is a lot to do in Tampa I would definitely consider it.

Some of the best beaches in the world are what draw people to this area. Deep sea fishing, boating etc.

But we do have the most "gentlemen clubs" per captia in the world. As John Stewart says...... In Tampa, you can't get a $ bill without at least some glitter on it.

You can fly real cheap out of Springfield, Mo. to St. Petersburg on Alligiant Air. Fares are less than $60 one way sometimes. Several cruise ships leave out of Tampa. Go to the Bahamas's, Cozumel, Key West etc. Just an idea for ya.

There was a nice Marriott near the cruise terminal in Tampa. Walking distance to lots of stuff.

if you were inclined, it might be worth saving it for a future trip if you can get $60 tickets. Actually, you might be better for cheap tickets to just use the points to get Amazon gift cards.

There are a lot more seasoned travelers than yours truly.

That being said, I guess it all depends on what you want.

If you're looking for relaxation, I'd recommend the Black Hills. You can fly into Rapid City, rent a car, and take in whatever you want. One of the most refreshing trips I've ever been on.

If you haven't been to DC, you must before you die. Even if you can't stand what's going on in the buildings, you still need to see it. Take the museums, go to the square and the monuments. It is pretty profound.

But yeah, it really all depends on what you are looking for.
