There was a little bit of awkwardness when discussing Piolis daughter TPing Reids house.
I bet its a true story and went something like so..

Pioli: Damn bastard Reid cost me my cushy office!
Daughter: Want me to TP his house?
Pioli: Yes, but I would rather use it as a passive aggressive jab at him on live TV
Daughter: ok :(

****ing dumb to have Reid and ****face pioli on at the same time. Like this is what us Kansas City Chief fans with the #1 pick want to see. Give us Reid and we are good.

That was awkward. And I thought it was really inappropriate for SP to tell Reid not to get locked into the QB.

Andy Reid essentially fired Pioli...and then Pioli says "don't be so locked in on a quarterback, lots of other good players out here"

I understand I am reading between the lines and drawing hopeful conclusions, but it seems that may have been a philosophical difference between the two in that interview in Philly that lead to Piolis firing...by Reid.

the good thing about this is that pioli has to have his faced rubbed in his failure....

Maybe in the 9 hour interview in Philly...where ***** possibly wanted a linemen as his plan going forward and Reid wanted a QB.

I haven't got to watch yet but I'm willing to bet that's EXACTLY what it is.

Why would Pioli caution him on not locking in on a QB if there wasn't at least some TRUTH to the idea that Reid IS locked in on a QB?

Exactly.

listening to ***** say "don't be so locked in on a QB" is one of the most painful things I've ever heard...it almost sounded like ***** pleading for reid to be nice to his girlfriend cassel

just pathetic...***** is a worm

Remember, the reports were that "the new head coach will decide Piolis fate"

Its clear Reid and SP don't see eye to eye on Cassel or the need for a QB, it was encouraging to see that play out, even though Reid said nothing, SPs questions and comments made it clear they're nowhere close to being on the same page.

It's looking more and more likely that the Chiefs will be going QB with their first pick, that said the one thing we know for certain is that they won't be taking a QB with that first pick.

The only problem I have with this is that the first draft class of Pioli is now at the same point we were at with a lot of guys at this team. A lot of people thought Carr sucked, Albert needed to be moved to Guard, Derrick Johnson was a colossal bust, Jamaal Charles was a backup....

Just because we hate Scott, I don't think we can sit here and say guys like Arenas, Jackson, Dorsey, and even McCluster are bums. Sure, they haven't done much, but honestly, think back to right when Pioli got here. There were a lot of guys on this team that are still on the team that "sucked".

Pioli doesn't think it takes a great QB to win in the league. He has some warped mindset about the QB spot, that IMO, comes from somehow finding and them developing Brady. I'm not sure they (Patriots) see Brady as the reason or nearly as good as the rest of the league sees him.

I cannot wait until brady is done and they are stuck with a piece of shit QB.
Infact, I'd love to see Cassel go back to NE. Even if he does get them in the playoffs, he's not going all the way. Welcome to mediocracy Patriots.

What was funny is how ex-GM of the Jets (Tenenhaum?) said how picking the wrong QB can define you for the next 10 years or a few years, then exclaimed and said "Like me and Scott". As in, we failed at picking QBs.

It was nice to see someone shoot shit to Pioli's face. Pioli pretended to laugh along.
