Prove I'm ignorant using the limited data found in the post you quoted. Oh, wait, you probably don't even know what ignorant means. The irony. It burns.

That is irrelevant to whether or not such a QB would be worth the money you'd have to spend on him. Shit is still shit, even if it is less expensive due to a new CBA. Ever heard of opportunity cost? You lose out on more than merely the money you spend relative to the worth of the player you drafted, and in drafts like these, it is rare for any of the quarterbacks to find success over the life of their rookie contract. It is basically a wasted draft pick, more often than not, because those quarterbacks from draft classes like these who do find success often do so only later in their career, and often times for another team.

You are more likely to whiff on an early pick rookie QB than a veteran with two and a half years of above average play. If you want to win early, this was the right move. Unless you all wanted to tank next season too, to get another early draft pick, of course.

Go to hell you worthless troll.

This is just like before, first move is awful. It's good to know that I have no reason to care about the next 5 year's already.I frankly don't care anymore if they don't why should I? I've put to much and cared to much to just sit there and let them shit on me time and time again, in short **** em.

You proved you were ignorant when you cited the cost of high draft picks in monetary terms, especially after we traded for Alex ****ing Smith's bloated-ass contract.

Fritz88 02-27-2013 10:35 PM

He went out and got the best available coach (You can argue for Kelly all you want, but by then, it was clear that Chip wasn't serious about the NFL).

He did what he had to do.

It's ****ing Ried and Dorsey.

Dorsey is a ****ing puppet.

I am curious what the Donks on other boards think about this trade. I assume they think it's ****ing hilarious, and are only too pleased that we're getting beaten down by fate yet again. But hey, I could be wrong. Maybe some of them feel pity.

They could have drafted Landry Jones, Tyler Wilson, Matt Barkley all in the second round.

Matt Cassel - 58.9 completion %, 13,495 yards, 82 TD, 57 INT, 24 Fumbles, 80.4 Passer Rating

Alex Smith - 59.3 completion %, 14,280 yards, 81 TD, 63 INT, 36 Fumbles, 79.1 Passer Rating

The overall feeling is that the Chiefs are an instantly improved team (yea, no shit), but that they paid a pretty high price for what they got. The thing is that we've probably already learned all there is to know about Alex Smith, and that's just not very worrisome.

HOW IN THE ****ING WORLD does someone who isn't the CEO control the CEO such that anything that happens isn't the CEO's fault? Yall are just so ****ing reeruned. Bunch of damn ingrates. How do you even function in society? It's 1000% Hunt's fault. He sat up there on local radio spouting all the bullshit in the world to trick fans into rebuying his shitty product. This bitch said along the lines of, "The GM will answer/report to me..." How that absolves him of blame is mind boggling. Truly. He's one of the greatest swindler's in history. He shits on Tom Sawyer.

So if these guys do not like any of the QB's, at least higher draft pick QB's, they should just HAVE to take one because Clark said so?

This stuff is ridiculous.

People are just pissed because they weren't impressed with Geno. Thats the bottom line.

This is a shit QB class folks, thats the issue. We missed the ****ing boat last year.

just curious, what does rationalizing the irredeemable taste like?

I don't care about A.Smith coming to KC, I mean so what! What I do care about is Hunt giving away such a high draft pick for a guy that would have been released. No way they were going to keep him on the roster. The fans have really suffered as of late and for what?? This draft had the perfect setting to show change. Draft a promising young QB and quire other young talent but NOOOO!!!! Not the Chiefs. I guess they let the idiotic media persuad all their decisions

I am so disappointed! NFL has been my personal pastime for so many years. I sold out to the Chiefs many years ago. I have taken shit from friends for many years. I just knew every dog has its day. I have taken it on the chin for the last time.

If the Chiefs have truly given up more than a 3rd for this below average QB, that will be it for me. I will watch football for I am a father of 3 boys but my passion for KC will have diminished.

My wife says ( she is a GB fan ) it is time to follow a new team but I can not! It is not in my DNA to jump ship. However today ( assuming rumors are true ) my logical thinking will override my emotional passion. My Chiefs gear will be put away. I will stop coming to these Chiefs football boards ( which I stop by atleast twice a day just see if there is any new scoop on my beloved team ).

Watching how this team is managed is like watching the US government. Can't make a good decision to save your ass but somehow the little people give enough to bail you out only to watch you do it again....:Lin:

Just cannot do this any longer for this is :BS:
