I have to agree, it is fun sweeping the Cheaps LMAO

Trouble is the quarterback class this year is being nitpicked to death due to the success last year. Not to mention they have 4 years of starting tape on all the big guys. Its wacky season on normal top qb prospects that this year has. |

Albert Breer @AlbertBreer 34s
The Seahawks and Raiders have in fact agreed to draft-pick compensation on a tentative trade to send Matt Flynn to Oakland. Deal's close. |

I hope we get to hear that no QB from here on out is like Luck or RGIII. Because if not....then the experts are ****ing reeruns. |

Personally, I think it's a bad move for them, but whatever. They gave up too much for Palmer and now have to release him, then just gave up a pick for a guy that's started one game in his six year career. Unlike the Chiefs, that team has holes every where on their roster and they'll most likely be in the Top Three again next year, if not #1 overall. It would be hilarious if Prior, a former third rounder, beats out Flynn. LMAO |

I love it that people are saying that these teams are "passing" on Geno Smith because they're trading for other QBs. Or they see Geno as having a correctable flaw but would rather sit him for a year behind a veteran QB who can win them games.

And this has happened to Smith how many times now? |

This doesnt mean teams dont want Geno. They just want a vet QB to start and groom Geno. Could be what KC is thinking ya never know. They havent traded Albert yet and those trade winds have died down lately
|
Here....let me throw around some stats.
76.7% of CP members think ChiefsandO'sfan sucks dick. 25.3% think that he takes it up the ass. What? You want proof of that? Just wait until April 25th, man. |

If the Flynn to Oakland trade gets completed, as expected, look for Seattle to consider Tyler Thigpen as a back-up to Russell Wilson |
If after all this you're not taken back just a pinch about this year's QB class in how the top teams are trying to trade for QBs rather than just drafting one, then I don't think you're being objective.
I've was a Geno guy sometime back but then it became clear the Chiefs are not going that direction. So I moved on. Certainly scouts & GM see something a lot of people on this board do not. I don't know what it is but that's the situation. |
You're basically a Twitter app for CP.

I dont think it sucks....but its weak yes. Maybe these guys think they can trade Albert, and get a QB in the 2nd to 4th rounds? I have no idea..... |

Lol dude was a backup when we traded for him. Period. |

"JaMarcus Russell is going to immediately energize that fanbase, that football team -- on the practice field, in that locker room," ESPN's Mel Kiper said at the time. "Three years from now you could be looking at a guy that's certainly one of the elite top five quarterbacks in this league. ...You're talking about a 2-3 year period once he's under center. Look out because the skill level that he has is certainly John Elway-like." |
Why do people keep bashing ChiefsandO'sfan? Cuz he's anti geno?

People in this forum were enamored with Jimmy Clausen. I got swept up in it as well. When the Chiefs passed at 5, it was unclear whether it was Pioli's doing or that Weis didn't trust him and so on. But when he dropped into the second round, it was clear that the NFL front offices knew more about Clausen than anyone in an internet forum. And to date, Clausen hasn't proven them to be wrong. |
Quote:
Now: Well he has correctable flaws but needs to sit on the bench. Rationalizing LMAO |

Now: We have a game manager at QB. Makes perfect sense. |

They'll be more meaningful the week leading up to the draft, as GM's and front office personnel begin leaking information to local and national reporters. But overall, they're just silly fun, yet some people take them as gospel. I think it's weird. |

It sucks I have wanted the team to draft 3 QBs over the last decade or so, and each ****ing time we have traded for a backup QB - 2001 Brees, 2009 Sanchez and this year Barkley/I would have accepted Geno as well. |

It's too bad that Barkley was hurt. |
I wanted Clausen at 5 only if Berry was gone at that point.

It is inevitable that Matt Flynn will end up in Oakland. The Raiders aren't taking a QB in the first round. Flynn is best option Palmer goes |

Taking Jimmy Clausen at 5 is worse than anything Pioli did. Yikes. |
