Puig is fun to watch though |

Their best reliever (Jansen) doesn't close, and there are a number of low character/malcontent guys on that team (Hanley, Beckett, Kemp) that makes the whole considerably less than the sum of the parts. |

Me and my Dad used to bowl a lot, and my Dad's highest game ever was 223. He had that same back-handed release, and got absolutely no ball speed whatsoever. Only times he got high scores was if he was lucky as shit, and he'll even admit it. Quote:

But can he play football...:hmmm:

No way I'm pinning my entire reputation on so trivial and ancient a bit of information. I just wanted to express some nostalgia at fun times past, not stir up some cyber hornets' nest over something so stupid and incidental. On the up side, Hootie now has something really juicy to roast me over were I so honored, however remote the chances I rate above the luminaries already enumerated, to still somehow rate in the pantheon of the 101. |

Perhaps a better analogy would be spring training games. Nobody cares that the Royals won the Cactus League with a 25-7 record. The Royals have proven pretty effectively that winning 78% of your games in spring training doesn't mean you are good enough to win 78% of the games that count. Or 70%. Or 60%. Or even 50%. To get this tread back on track somewhat: Yes, I know Yasiel Puig hit over .500 in spring training, and he's tearing up the National League now. But a lot of guys rake in spring training and suck when the real games start. Mitch Maier used to be spring training MVP every year. |
Another hit - you all are down 8 to 1 against the Braves, but dude keeps balling. Keep it up. La Gloria Cubana

Poor guy just got drilled in the face.
Edit- Look's OK |
ugh
|
Well that started a battle. Greinke came back and hit one of the D'backs to retaliate for Puig. Then when Greinke came back up to the plate about had his head taken off... bench clearing fight. Mark Gwire and Don Mattingly about got in a tag team fight with Matt Williams and Kirk Gibson.

He was sucking it up bad, though. |
He was dog cussing out Mattingly on national television two weeks ago.
|
Can we just call Grienke the "Honey Badger" since he just doesn't give a ****?
|
He's actually pretty much a badass
|
Greinke will stick up for his team. Dude may have just "chased the money" not may he did, he admitted it, but when he's on your team. He's all in.
|
.483 6 hr. 13 RBIs he's still tearing it up

Puig is a ****ing beast.
|
JFC. Can he put a full season in first. Morons were talking about putting him in the All Star game because of a hot couple of weeks.
|
I love Greinke. His postseason in Milwaukee was embarrassing.

I don't give a **** about him. There are plenty of more established guys that deserve it more. We tend to care more about winning in Cardinal country anyway...

Dude has more hits in his first 16 games then any other player since 1900. thats still pretty ****ing impressive. Or was it multi hit games, either way, still ****ing impressive. |
1 BB(It was intentional) 14 K's. .524 BABIP.

John Perrotto @jperrotto 1h #Dodgers RF Yasiel Puig has 7 HR in 77 AB. The only more physically gifted player I've seen in 26 years of covering #MLB is Bo Jackson. |

No one cares, really.
Dodgers still suck ass. |

I guess someone has to make up for Matt Kemp being a pussy

The pitch he hit out yesterday, defies physics. I still have NO idea how he got it out. He after taking two hard cutters in on his hands, takes a change up, down and away, out the opposite way. I HATE, LOATHE DESPISE the dodgers, so giving them credit for anything, is hard for me. That was a hell of a hit.
|
Yeah u usually don't see a ball hit like that from a righty, maybe to right center. But that Homer was down the right field line.
Guys are finally starting to get healthy. Still need kemp and Crawford back. Within 2 weeks though. As shitty as they have played they are only 8 back. |
The next Bo Jackson fellas.
|
Who's ready for some Dodger baseball?
Think Blue |
LA Fans are the dumbest in the country behind Oakland. Congratulations.

**** this guy is clutch.
|
Too bad the Dodgers bullpen is out there now. lol They are sketchy as hell.
|
6 in a row. guys are starting to hit now! Puig continues to hit! See what happens only 6 out now.
|
Puig is bringing a whole new atmosphere to the Dodger stadium.
I was there about 3 weeks ago and everything didn't seem right lol. Everyone was actually enjoying themselves |
Puig is 40-93 since his call up. Insane.
Got killed yesterday lol. Today Hanley goes deep. I think we got that old Hanley back. |
I want to crush your Dodger spirit. So I will say this: Jeff Francoeur started his career hitting .432 with 8 homers. Oh and frenchy strikes out roughly one in every five abs as well. So take that. (I haven't even watched Puig play.)

So far in todays game Puig is 3-3 and 2SB. 2 singles and a pop fly triple that landed just over the first basemens head.lol
Dodgers PR @DodgersPR 22s Puig's 43 hits are the second-most all-time behind Joe DiMaggio (48, 1936) for a player in the 1st month of their career |
