What? Seattle will impose tbeir will on soft Denver team. Denver is not physical enough to win.

notorious 01-20-2014 09:37 PM

Seattle is preparing to blow up the picks.

Denver knows this, so they will adjust.

If the game goes sideways and Denver gets desperate, they will go back to their bread and butter. Seattle will probably get some PFs for blowing up the picks.

No way Donkeys beat a physically superior team like Seattle.

I hate Denver, but JFC.

Whenever someone uses the term "no way" in regards to what's gonna happen in an NFL game, they've gone full reerun.

Yeah, those Dan Reeves defenses were spectacular... they never faced a QB that failed to win the SB MVP. Three out of the top 7 were Reeves' teams, Elway's best game - against Reeves.

If SEA doesn't win, I fear that Tuckdaddy may lock himself in a room for 3 days, curled up in a ball on the floor...

I've got the Seahawks. The combination of that incredible defense and that it'll be played in East Rutherford in February helps Seattle.

KChiefer 01-21-2014 05:18 AM

I'm pulling for the 'hawks, which is proving to be a kiss of death this season.

Well, we're almost there... been a long week. You guys enjoy the game on Sunday. I hope it's a well officiated and clean game - no silliness. It has the makings to be really great.

I definitely believe Denver can win this one, it won't be easy.

30-24 or 27-21 - I float between those two scores, both with Denver winning.

Enjoy.

MahiMike 01-31-2014 10:55 AM

31-17 Broncos

Earthling 01-31-2014 11:05 AM

I'm thinking the Seahags win this one. As you can imagine, living here in Colorado, the Donk fans will be insufferable if they pull this off. So, I put a $20 bet on the Donks and really hope I lose this bet. A win/win situation.

Easy 6 01-31-2014 11:36 AM

If I were laying down some scratch on this, I gotta admit that it would go on the donks... sad but true.

Hearts with Seattle, but I just have some strong doubts about their offense being able to keep up in spite of the fact that I'm sure their defense will do a great job.

My only predicition is that I will gorge myself and drink like Roman aristocrat.

Donks -2 1/2 at the time I placed my bet. Worst case scenario Donks win by 1 or 2.

Should be a hella game, cant wait, haven't looked forward to one like this for a while.

TheUte 01-31-2014 11:58 AM

I think it will come down to the front 4 of the chickens. If they can get pressure and disrupt 5-head he will be in for a long day and chickens will win.

27 - 24, chickens. Manning throws game losing INT.

Halfcan 01-31-2014 12:09 PM

I always go with the Best Defense and best running game. So Seahawks!

Dayze 01-31-2014 12:11 PM

Manning is good for 2 INTs.

I'd love for Manning to be up by 4 with 00:40 go, and the Seahawks pinned at their own 10. and Have Lynch go beast mode like the run against the Saints.

God that would be glorious

ClevelandBronco 01-31-2014 12:33 PM

To win this game, the Broncos have to score at least in the mid-30s, IMO. So Broncos 38, Hawks 27. If the Broncos have less than 17 at the half, plan the parade, Seattle.

ptlyon 01-31-2014 12:46 PM

It's going to be 40 ****ing 8 degrees there Sunday.

You probably want to pray for wind. That would be more of a game changer than temperature. But where are you getting 48 anyway?

I doubt it. The NFL will do what they can, throughout the course of the game, to see that Manning gets his 2nd ring...It's called "making adjustments at halftime."

I don't buy that. Sometimes it takes a while for Manning and Gase to crack a Defense. This is a particularly hard nut to crack. I like how our D handled SD and NE in the previous two playoff games. I don't think it's unreasonable to be optimistic about their chances vs. SEA.

If Seattle throws something unexpected at them, sure it could take some time. I don't expect anything unexpected, however. I think the Hawks believe they're sitting on a pat hand defensively.

Yeah, I'm not planning anything based on what the score looks like after any quarter... until the 4th. :thumb:

Contain Lynch and Denver will have a very good shot - and containing Lynch is not a crazy task.

Wilson is no Manning, but I wouldn't totally look past their passing offense either... it isn't high flying but can usually be effective enough to keep teams from getting too close to the LOS for Lynch.

Like I said the other day, Harvin will be a big X factor... particularly if they have him do some returning.

I'm not dismissing him at all... esp if Harvin is back and able to do something with any consistency. I see that offense, obviously with a different quality at QB, sort of on the level of what NE put out there 2 weeks ago.

Strong ground game, ok receivers - solid QB play, but with Brady > Wilson.

You think Manning and Gase might get around to cracking that Seattle defense fairly soon, seeing as it's halftime and all?
