The biggest hole on the Baltimore Ravens roster can only be filled by one man in this draft.
With the 17th pick in the first round of the Chiefs Planet Alt Mock the Baltimore Ravens select Jimmie Ward, S, N. Illinois. http://www.niutoday.info/wp-content/...immie-9-28.jpg |
Nice, Ward is a good player. Gonna be great next to Elam.
|
Ward over Pryor??????
|
NY Jets select Eric Efron, TE, North Carolina.

Mother ****er.. Why am I the Jets anyway? Everytime I log in I have another team.
NY Jets select Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State. |

The Miami Dolphins addressed some of their biggest needs in free agency by re-signing their own (Randy Starks, Brent Grimes) or bringing in players from the outside (Branden Albert, Shelley Smith, Earl Mitchell, Knowshon Moreno). The remainder of their primary needs offensively can be had on day 2. I look for them to address their primary need defensively with their Chaplain's son. The Miami Dolphins select...
Ryan Shazier - OLB - Ohio State http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/b...03/6673544.jpg |
LMAOHomer pick.

Edit: Also, he's the most physically gifted player in this draft and happens to be a damn good player. He can not only run with tight ends, he can run with slot receivers. |
Hmm, is he any better than Zach Brown was in 2012 I wonder . . .
|
Quote:
Shazier is more explosive, faster, and stronger than Brown and my opinion is he's a much better player. Putting up 143 tackles in the B1G is no small feat. He has the potential to be one of the best weak side linebackers in the league. The biggest draw though to me is they already know him as a person better than any other team in the league and the talent is definitely there to warrant a 1st round pick even if LBs traditionally aren't a sought out commodity early on very often. A 6.90 3-cone is on pace with most slot receivers and his 4.38 40 shows he can stay with anyone. Plus he's got great size at 6'1" 237 and his frame doesn't look maxed out, like he could add another 10 pounds easily in his legs and upper body. So I don't think you say the floor is high. |
I sure did think this would move much faster.

The Arizona Cardinals select Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
|
Green Bay was hoping that Calivin Pryor would slide one more Pick so that they could add him, to Improve their Atrocious Secondary Play from last Season. Now Green Bay must look for other options. They don't necessarily feel that there is another Safety worth taking with this pick, the top LBers they may have preffered are off the Board, and with the Addition of Peppers, and resiging BJ Raji, Defensive Line can wait a Round or Two. So instead of Defense Green Bay looks to Replace some of the Weapons they've lost on the Offesnsive Side of the Ball over the last Two Offseasons. They lost Greg Jennings, James Jones and Jermichael Finley. Outside of Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson, the Packers don't have anyone that really instills any Fear in the Opposing Teams' Defenses they may face. The Green Bay Packers select.....Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU. This allows them to put Beckham Jr. opposite of Jordy Nelson and move Randall Cobb back to the Slot where his skills are best suited, and Jarrett Boykin would then be their Fourth Receiver.

Ignoring their defense eh?

The Eagles select:
http://cdn1.sbnation.com/uploads/cho...dard_352.0.jpg Dee Ford DE/OLB Auburn The Eagles need help in the secondary and hoped Pryor would have fallen. Ford is a difference maker and who doesn't need more pass rush.. |
Chiefs select Kony Ealy DE Mizzou
|
What no info on why!
Dude you are picking for the chiefs. Tell us something, you just turned in the cArd and walked away. Oh and... RA'SHEDE HAGEMAN, DT HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-6 / 310 LBS. |
Quote:
|
If Hali was able to make the transition to OLB, there is no reason why Ealy can't do the same.
|
hmm no one up yet>?
|
I like the chiefs pick in this mock better than that 'other' mock.
Nice. |
i got Ealy for Bengals in other draft. I know this would pretty much signal the eventual end of Hali but he lives up to potential damn him and houston rushing the passer. Very scary situation guys!

Sorry. Never got a PM until OldSchool updated me a moment ago.
Was afraid Ealy would be gone before I selected. Gotta go with the best on the board, and that's offensive line. Bengals need another tackle anyway. Cincinnati Bengals draft Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan |

Also, peeps, remember to PM the person selecting after you so they know that they're up. Thanks! |

With the 25th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select:
Kyle Fuller, CB, VIrginia Tech http://secondroundstats.com/wp-conte...day-Sports.jpg The Chargers are sorely in need of a good starting CB and could use a few more. They take Kyle Fuller here. |
wow can't believe my guy is still on the board give me a sec i'm gonna pick for Cleveland and new orleans.

With the 28th selection in the 2014 ChiefsPlanet Mock Draft the Carolina Panthers select:
Jason Verrett CB TCU Panthers have lots of needs but I don't think one of them is taking a RT in the 1st round when that is something that they have on the OL. I think there will be better depth at WR later as well as better value on OL later as well. http://www.dallasnews.com/incoming/2.../156843332.jpg |
pm sent to pestilence
|
Didn't even realize I had the Pats. Give me a minute.

With the 30th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:
Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State University http://blacksportsonline.com/home/wp...adley-Roby.jpg After the arrest of Chris Culliver and losing one of their better cover men in Tarrell Brown, the 49ers' are in dire need of an upgrade in their secondary as the only starting caliber CB they have remaining is Brock. Bradley Roby is one of the most athletically gifted corners in this draft and has major upside as a #1 CB. |
Quote:
I think Verrett is going to be one hell of a player though. He has everything except for great size. |
The Broncos need more help at linebacker, so they go and draft one of the most versatile ones available... The Denver Broncos select
Kyle Van Noy - LB - Brigham Young http://img.ksl.com/slc/2504/250483/25048355.jpg |
One last pick until we're on to the second round. Good job guys!
|
The Seattle Seahawks could use some help at a few different spots in this Draft. They could use a bit of help on the Offensive Line, Corner and Wide Receiver. They could also use some help on the Defensive Line, after losing some Key Players to Free Agency. With the Final Pick of First Round, the Seattle Seahawks select....Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota. This Guy has all the Tools to develop into an outstanding Defensive Lineman, even if he's a bit of a Raw Prospect.

I hate how I've been forced by draft value to pick this snap-clapping ****face twice in two mock drafts. :banghead:
The Houston Texans select Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State |

LOL at SNR... "snap-clapping ****face..." classic...
In any event... Washington is a cluster**** for a franchise, but here goes... They need some help on the d-line if they want to do anything defensively in a good division. The 'Skins select... Stephon Tuitt - DE - Notre Dame http://i2.cdn.turner.com/si/dam/asse...-image-cut.jpg |
Quote:
In no way does my post look like a pick and there's the OP you can check if ur confused. |
Quote:
He's going to be a good QB. Woulda been nice for Tuitt to slip to the Falcons, but oh well. |

The Cleveland Browns select: Chris Borland ILB Wisconsin Borland will team in the middle to form a dynamic duo makes this D even tougher. |

They're not going to putz around with Case Keenum for another year. |
The Oakland Raiders select Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State
|
With the 37th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select:
Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech http://sports.cbsimg.net/u/photos/fo...mg24092814.jpg With the retirement of Tony Gonzalez, Matt Ryan needs a new threat in the middle of the field to complement and help take some pressure off of Julio Jones and Roddy White. This will help Matt Ryan tremendously as Amaro will provide him with a reliable safety valve in the passing game. |
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.. have absolute shit value to pick from for what they need right now.
But they're on the clock and the Buccs select Xavier Su'a-Filo - Guard - UCLA As a projected first rounder, Tampa Bay can shore up their offensive line for Glennon -or any other quarterback Lovie Smith's staff selects in the draft.[/b] |
With the 39th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars Select:
Allen Robinson, WR, Penn State http://media.pennlive.com/patriotnew...7953-large.jpg |
Won't be back until 6ish this evening.

The Vikings need a QB in the Worst Possible way. There's no way that they can go into next Season with Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder as their only two QBs. That Ship has Sailed. The Minnesota Vikings Select....Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois. Ideally they would love to Draft him in the third round, but they are not so sure he would still have been there.
|
The Buffalo Bills select Joel Bitonio, OT/OG, Nevada.
http://www.draftbrowns.com/wp-conten...el-bitonio.jpg |
I will have my pick up in just a few minutes.
