Speaking of which, I made chocolate sponge cake last night from bitter-sweet chocolate, butter, 3 eggs, sugar, and a bit of cake flour. Topped with powdered sugar. Had a piece tonight with a tawny port.

Nope. I work a 9/80 schedule, strictly days. Every 6th week I have to work the weekend, which would be a 9 day stretch Mon-Tue then I'll have the rest of the week off (5days). Go back to the 9/80 until the 6th week. Never on call. I just make sure the pumping units are running and not leaking.

It's a great schedule. I get a vacation every 6 weeks. Most employees will use there vacation on the Mon & Tue and have 7 days off. They don't frown upon taking days off. It's very kick back. Great company. I'm truly grateful.
