Say the Chiefs win 2-4 games this season and end up drafting a QB with their 1st pick.

Would you be willing to suffer through another season of Alex Smith? This is assuming that the rookie sits for the 1st season to get a handle on the offense. This also makes it so the Chiefs don't have to take a huge cap hit to cut Smith.

Learn the offense while watching Smith run the plays that andy calls........uh, NO

There's nothing I want my first round QB learning from watching Alex and his suck.

Who was young and showed some talent in his few starts with the eagles so it was worth giving the guy a shot. Alice has 11 years under his belt. Teams know what he is and, unless their QB situation is worse than ours, they won't give up much to get him

That's pretty much the perfect situation. I'm not a fan of throwing a first year QB to the wolves.

Not really. Reid has been a failure with the offense the last two years. I don't want to give him another 4 years with a rookie starting in 2017.

Purge and let the new HC pick his guy for his system. And, I really don't want Smith to be the mentor.

Ooooh. I really should read the entire thread before replying.

Dammit.

I'm okay with that.

Let's see if Daniel can do this.

Let's see if Murray can do this.

Let's see if a QB taken in either 2016 or 2017 can do this.

Let's see if Smith can right the internal mental ship.

All this is a possibility.

****!!!!!!! I agree with Sacc on something. This is a bad sign.

I'm pretty much done with Reid. He handpicked Alex as the "perfect" fit for his offense and his asinine refusal to lean on the running game in any capacity will do a rookie QB no favors.

Ship that fat shit elsewhere post-haste.
