This is one of the many reasons I went from a CP viewer in the past to an active poster. The trend in the posting behavior was extremely disappointing in 2014-15 and anyone who wanted to stand up for a player (mainly for A Smith since quarterbacks are easy scape goats) were easily silenced by a very persistent group who carried a cynical view of the team. That sentiment is slowly dissipating, funny how winning silences the critics.

If you take a step back and look at things as a whole, CP is one of the best NFL forums in the league.

I would prefer that mods act fairly and (more importantly) consistently across the board.

I watch a lot of football, probably way too much. But having watched Reid and Smith thru their careers I have only grown to like them with every passing year. Reid lost a kid to suicide and Philly found an opportunity to move on after a bad season, Smith was dumped for an unproven QB after going something like 18-5 because he missed one week due to a concussion. I can't help but root for the underdogs.

Karma has balanced things out: Smith is the 3rd winnest QB in the league since joining with Reid, SF/Kaep/Harbaugh have been split apart.

I've had my name changed twice, casino cash stolen and banned from threads just because mods were ****ing with me for fun.

I recently had a thread deleted in DC that I had worked on for couple of hours just because mods were having fun. They didn't know I had put that time into that thread and couldn't restore. They said sorry and we moved on.

Do mods make mistakes and go too far sometimes, sure. But, its a thankless job. I've been an admin and mod on boards. The stupid shit you have to put up with, the fights between posters, people bitching about this or that is endless.

Overall the mods on here do a good job and deserve a raise.
