What injuries are you talking about? He had only had one ACL tear when we signed him to a yet extension. |

Son of a bitch! What a blow to not have him anymore ever. Love you JC and I wish you well.

Most exciting runner since Barry Sanders.

Restructure the contract in the offseason?

No one knows when/if he'll be effective again, let alone, ready to play. The best course of action, at least as of today, is to release him in March. If he's still capable of playing, sign him to a Vet Min incentive laden deal. But at this point, no one knows when his body might allow him to play again. |

Very sad day. Probably my favorite Chief ever. |

A few years back, I was in the first row of the endzone in St Louis, and he broke off a long run and he was FLYING right toward us...(TD!) Rams fan behind me says...SIT DOWN! I turned around and said "I can smell your tears"* * courtesy of KC Dans youngest son. |
It sucks. It just straight up sucks. JC is a bad ass and I have no doubt he will play again but it's highly doubtful it will be for us and that will be heart breaking.

That sucks, I thought after the few good runs he had against the Raiders he was good and on his way.

Thought so |

He got paid, the Chiefs took care of him. I wanted to think he would be back for a year or two.
|
Well if we win it all this year, he gets a ring.
And Reid won't go one dimensional with him as a lead back. This team is fine if ware is healthy. Never have we asked West to carry more of the weight than before. We need to put ware on carry counts to keep him fresh for a playoff run |
Quote:
|
That's my initial thought. He might be able to return from IR in time for the playoffs and give him a chance to be in the run or at least on the sidelines. Kind of a last hoorahhh thing if they don't have to use the IR return option somewhere else.
|
Do we really want Andrews touching his knee?
Seems like he's botched the job on Charles and Houston. |

Even so he has to be there 8 weeks which is cutting it close |
NFL on Facebook reported that he could come back for our week 17 game against the Chargers.
I didn't check into it, though. |

Thanks 25. You were great.

I'm not that worried about the Chiefs. Remember when Charles tore his ACL last year and we lost to Chicago? Season over? Yeah, no.
Ware (when he returns, hopefully Sunday), West, and the rest will be more than fine. It's just Jamaal I feel for. Likable...no LOVABLE guy who came from nothing, severely limited with a learning disability, 2 torn ACL's, great dad/husband from what I see, awesome in the community, and incredibly talented. I mean, best RB I can remember watching in a Chiefs uniform. I'm bummed for him. |
|
I can't even
|
He's probably one of my favorite Chiefs ever, he was one of the few reasons to watch the Chiefs at all through some of those dark years. Even if the team sucked you would watch to see what crazy shit Charles was going to do that day.
|
Welp. Bye bud.
|
It would be poetic if he came back for the playoff run and helped lead us to the promise land, and rode off into the sunset....
Kinda like, you know, that QB from Denver who shall not be named... |
He did some amazing things behind some of the shittiest offensive lines to ever play this game.
His ability to see a hole and provide that burst of speed was unmatched by any Chiefs back to ever play. Amazing back to watch. |

What RB either historical or currently playing would you compare S. Ware's style to, Hamas? A little off-topic, just wondering. |

I was actually pondering what a great marketing story that would be for the NFL if he came back and ran for 200 yards in the Super Bowl. Are you listening, Mr. Goodell? |

How long have you guys been watching this league? |
I would assume they will ask Reid tomorrow about the possibility of his return.

The doc who tweeted what kind of surgery Jamaal was having said that it's typically the kind of thing that would allow for a return late in the year.

Activated for playoffs
|
I'm going to hold out hope for a return in the playoffs and sparks this offense late. I don't doubt Jamaal. He's a warrior and has always rebounded. Hopefully he can come back the last week and be ready for the playoffs. I wouldn't play him just see if he's ready.

I like this Spencer guy. Our RB's are pretty legit as it is. Chiefs dont really "need" JC anymore. He's a little dude that played alot behind a ****ing horrible Oline for so long.

Man this sucks. Feel bad for JC, he loves playing football as much as anyone. I feel like RG3 he just doesn't have the body to play anymore. Maybe he will prove me wrong, I thought he'd be alright but after this I have my doubts.
Now on to the Chiefs, this makes winning the SB a lot harder but we can still do it. Defense has to step up and become elite for us to have a chance at beating the Pats and others in the playoffs. |
Priest deserves the HOF before JC based on resume

JC is better than priest. Jamaal would've ran for 2500 yards and had 3000 yards from scrimmage in 2003 behind that line.
