My predictiOn based on a lot of years following this factory of sadness.
Most of the players fans here want will be available when the Chiefs pick. Fans will clamor like real life "it's happening" gifs.....excitement and fervor will build that the Chiefs are finally taking a first round QB.....and the commish will walk onto the stage and say With the 27th selection of the 2017 NFL draft, th Chiefs select, fatty Mcnoname DT from Berkeley college of sensitivity and nonviolence. New mullet cheering gifs will be created, fans will hate the pic. John Dorsey and Andy Reid will proclaim excitement for the chance to select this 6th round projected steal. |
May be there in Round 2.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cc3a463c74.jpg

Foster would turn this defense into a frightening unit... Every skill player in the league would be shitting their britches when they had to face us |
Foster is about the only guy I can accept them passing on Mahomes for.

I WANT the Chiefs to break tradition and go balls deep to get Mahomes.
I EXPECT the Chiefs to keep tradition, bury their dicks in their own asses, and make us wait until Day 2 for some broke-dick DT that should go round 5. But, maybe, just maybe, Dorsey and Reid have the mental fortitude to go in that deep. |
 God you're an embarrassment

Watson.

I don't want an undersized maxed out LB with durability and off field problems all over the place.
**** Reuben Foster. Do.Not.Want. |

we all know this. it does worry me some are more concerned about the chiefs in 18, and 19 rather than this year coming up. i may not see eye to teyeger, but .. we are not cleveland, or san fran. |

I really wish they'd trade up and draft Deshaun Watson.
Trading up is very un-Chiefs like which is disappointing. I have a feeling we'll hear stories of us getting jumped by another team for the QB we want. And then we'll end up staying put for an ILB. |

This is what I am hoping for tonight too. |

Watson.
It's gonna happen. |
Dalvin cook
|
Dalvin Cook would be awesome here but if this team thinks this is win now time then I expect a corner like Adoree Jackson, they may try to grab Kizer later who knows.
|
Trade back and take CB king and QB kizer.
|
Why the hell would a team with 10 picks trade down?

Jaguars Considering Deshaun Watson At No. 4? https://www.profootballrumors.com/20...n-watson-draft |
Anything about qbs in the top ten is just trying to make teams trade up.
|
Also, Adoree Jackson? No thanks he isn't very good
|
I think Mahomes goes ahead of schedule, we trade up to early 20s to take Watson. Or vise versa.
|
I predict much wailing and gnashing of teeth on CP through Saturday.
|
I WANT either Mahomes, Watson, or Kizer.
I THINK they are going to take either a pass rusher or a corner I EXPECT them to take a guard or a defensive tackle I really just want a premium position in the first - QB, corner, or an Edge rusher |

I could realistically see Mahomes or even Trubisky being the target (even moving up for either), but if he can't be had, then I could see repeat of last year. Moving back into the 2nd, and taking BPA ala Chris Jones. In that case, I think its Adoree Jackson.
Ordinarily I would say no way they trade up, but they've retained the most players from last year of any team in the NFL, and the need doesn't appear to equal the number of picks we have. |

I am almost certain it will be a WTF pick. Something in the ballpark of a Dee Ford, I just don't get the feeling they are going QB early as much as I want them to.
I want them to take any of the three: Mahomes Watson Webb I'd be happy with: Cunningham Jarrad Davis Dalvin Cook They'll probably pick one of three: Forrest Lamp Malik McDowell Adoree Jackson |
Dorsey can grab some faith tonight by doing what he needs to grabbing a QB in round 1. My own belief is running out keeping Smith another year. We could have kept Foles and gotten better on offense in my opinion but he was allowed to walk so we can keep Smith to run an offense loaded with talent that he fails to use.
If we don't make a move for a QB tonight that will be another fugg up on Dorsey's resume. Smith can't be here in 2018. He just can't. We have waited a life time for some hope at QB and he needs to do the right thing. If a QB is worth pick 27 why not at 15? Value shit is stupid in round one. Go get us one Dorsey. |

Me too. What's the worst that could happen, we keep him on the sidelines for this year and next if he can't cut it, we can Garoppolo him to the highest bidder in a year or two just based on the mystique.
|
They trade out because Chiefs.
|
FOR THE RECORD!!! Watson is not a good pick for Andy Rieds system. The reason I say this is his velocity on his throws. The fastest he spun a football was at 47 MPH. See below for examples...
Watson: 47 MPH Cody Kessler: 55 MPH Mahomes: 62 MPH Andy Ried's system is a timing system, meaning the ball needs to come out quick and get there quick. I don't think Watson has the Arm Talent to drive it into tight windows. I hope we get Mahomes, alas I think Texans are going to trade up to 14-20 range to draft him because Bill O'Brien is sooposedly "In love with him" I think the Chiefs will draft will play out like this "God I hope so version" R1 https://cmgstatesmancollegesports.fi...5368.jpg?w=640 Patrick Mahomes R2 https://cdn-s3.si.com/s3fs-public/20...er-alabama.jpg Reuben Foster R3 https://static.independent.co.uk/s3f.../jermaine2.jpg Jermaine Eluemunor R4 https://cdn-s3.si.com/s3fs-public/20.../joe-mixon.jpg Joe Mixon |

WE SHOULD TWEET A PICTURE OF HIM SMOKING WEED BEFORE DRAFT... Like ONE HOUR! Think about it, we can drop a line to Arrowhead saying its a HOAX, Media will have a frenzy before they can validate it! |
well Tunsil had a video leaked of him smoking and he only fell to like 12 so.
I can't imagine Foster falls that far |
I hope it's Mahomes. I'll be at the draft party tonight with Patrick. I'm praying it's the Chiefs calling him.
|
I think we will trade up in round 2 to go get our QB (likely D Webb). In round 1 I think we'll target C Wormley or TJ Watt. I'd probably go with Watt, but I think they'll select Wormley.

He is dating my wife's cousin so we will be at the draft party. I've known Patrick for the last 5 or so years. See him at every family holiday. Can't wait to be there. Being a huge Chiefs fan, I badly want him to go to KC, but it's really neat to just be there when he gets the call.
He has an incredible arm and a great head on his shoulders. He will be a steal. |

He told me he likes Andy Reid a lot, he knows Andy does have good success with QB's. Patrick is sharp and as most of the guys in the draft, they are excited at just the opportunity to go in the first round.
As all the mocks show, I worry the most about Arizona and Houston. I think we will definitely have to jump Houston to have a shot at him. If QB's get hot tonight, he will go top 13. |
Starting to think it might be Adoree Jackson
Paylor nailed the pick last year (though he had us taking Jones @ 28), and that's who he has us taking in his final mock. It makes a lot of sense if the QB's are gone as that Dorsey pick nobody saw coming. This guy is like the Tyreek Hill of defense with his ability to score anytime he touches the ball (along with added value as a return man). Dorsey loves corners with elite ball skills. |
