What? Jacobs is in the bottom 3rd of NFL RB1s. He was only actually "good" his rookie season when he had the benefit of one of the best OLs in football in front of him.

Yep. It's not like he couldn't play - he can. He just got outplayed in Houston by a super good rookie.

OK. Maybe for fantasy, not reality.

Didn't Matt Millen get analyst jobs even after he got fired in Detroit?

Mack looked like he was getting some of his explosion back when I had seen him. Might be worth a kick of the tires.

Mecca 08-30-2022 01:49 PM

[Rapoport] It's a conditional 7th that goes to a 6th based on playing time for Trayvon Mullen. If not for a trade, he was being released.

Damn.

Wasn't Marlon Mack the guy we were supposed to be so afraid of in Pat's first playoff game against the Colts?

Like he had this one impressive highlight play and a couple good games at the end of the year and all of a sudden "OMG defense and running the ball will slow down the Chiefs we're gonna lose!!!!!"

Johnathan Abram scares me. He is a menace to all players on the field including himself. He seems to have no control over how hard and fast he comes in on tackles and he hurts even the other Raider players.

Damn.

Can Trayvon Mullen recover from his toe injury? The Raiders have given up on a 2nd round pick after a year of IR. Cardinals have a low risk opportunity for a 7th round pick.

Time to fire the GM and probably everyone scouting the college draft. Offer big money to some up and coming exec to come in and totally revamp your drafting process.

Abrams is a Pollard clone. They can hit but they damn sure can't play the pass.

Yeah, that is what happened and now that GM is getting rid of players who don't make the Raiders better this season regardless of their draft status or cap hit.

Wow. So did the Chiefs.

The Raiders' drafting is abominable and no amount of Renfrows or Crosbies is going to change that.

Considering that no player in the league on any other team at any position could even make our 53, I sincerely doubt any of their cuts could.

I'd consider a claim on Cameron Goode. Dolphins cut him; he played really well in the pre-season. He'd definitely be worth a PS offer if he clears and he's interested.

May be an interesting developmental swing 'backer. Has some pass rush skill and is a solid athlete.

He was on the Patriots squad during Brady's last few years with them, that's why he gets so much run. Other than that, he likely wouldn't be in the league right now.

And he was pretty much the only offense on a Georgia team that went to the championship. Frankly, I'm surprised he can't go to a place that doesn't ask too much and just runs the ball.

Here's to hoping he misses and assignment and gets Herbert Killed.
