Mr. January, because he never gets to play in February.

The UCL injury broke Josh Allen. Look at his stats before and after injury. On the INT today, he underthrew a 30 yard pass that he could fire through a brick wall last season.

I expect we hear that he goes in for UCL surgery in a week or two.

Allen had 6 Ints in the 4 games prior to that injury. Gtfoh with that bullshit you ****ing douche.

Bills have very little talent that scares teams outside of Josh Allen and old Von Miller. Allen can't throw the ball to himself.

Allen deserves MVP for carrying the Bills. Played great in playoff game as well despite what the stats suggest. His teammates kind of suck in comparison to what Mahomes, Burrow, Purdy, Hurts etc are working with. Even Dak is working with more.

Put Allen on even New England and he would have a better supporting cast despite the Patriots not having a single skill position player worthy of a double team.

This is pretty ironic considering at week 6, this whole board unanimously agreed the Bills elite roster was equal to or better than ours.

I think Allen hasn't been the same killer since Daboll left. He's been playing hero ball by himself and it just isn't enough.

Tommy John would likely wipe Allen out for the 2023 season, would it not?

He might be back in time to lose in the divisional round at least

There was a question of whether he needed it earlier in the year, and it was said that there was no risk he’s injure it further but that if it was a Tommy John type issue it won’t get better until the surgery.

Hope that isn’t it, but he seems to have lost some accuracy and velocity this year.

That loss was on MM more than anyone. I honestly don't think the Bills as a franchise will recover from that coaching malpractice for many years to come. Not so much Allen personally. Allen will still be a very good QB and put up very good numbers but I don't think the Bills will be able to get over the hump in the postseason.

I don't think it could be a mental thing for the organization, especially over 5 or 10+ years as personnel changes.

It would be interesting to break down the fallout and dominos though (I think there's even a youtube channel that attempts it)... :13 seconds happen (and I'm making this up), Bills fire someone and sign am injury prone player. Mortgage their future and injury prone player gets injured. QB gets the yips because coach went elsewhere, loses in the divisional. No draft capital or eggs in their basket after spending 3 years getting over the hump and going all in after :13. etc, etc for the next 15 years, maybe.

Mr. Next January

He plays about like Derek Carr does in bad weather, which doesn’t work well with where he’s playing. No wonder they wanted to move that game against Cleveland earlier this year.

redfan 01-23-2023 08:56 AM

Lol, nah. Allen broke himself, and he'll eventually get healthy and be a thorn for years. OR he'll get RG3'd and be done with football.

(PSA for those of you who are as sharp as cue balls - this was a troll to see if it would create a butthurt thread on the Bills board.)

LMAO They aren’t even a playoff team without him, but still awesome comment.
