I'll be at the game tonight. Safe to assume no HDH?

Being they pitched 7,8,9 earlier today, I'd say zero percent chance.

zero? Uh. No. I bet Ned would pitch Madson and Herrera again. We could really use 7 out of Volquez, though.

If Volquez only goes 5 again wouldn't be shocked to see Lamb for 2 or 3.

I love how the guys on MLB TV are still doubting the Royals. One of the guys was going on about how the Angels are pushing the Royals for the best record in the league and they're the team to beat for the AL pennant.

One of the commenters for the on-line repost did point out that the Angels haven't even caught the Twins yet, much less the Royals.

It's like they have to have a NY/LA team to root for on that network or their whole day is shot.:cuss:

Do you ever get tired of just getting owned relentlessly?

wouldn't mind seeing it but I'd rather just see Volquez go 7 or 8, be up 4 or 5, and have Morales and Hoch just finish the thing out

I don't think there's any chance he'd pitch them twice in a day.

Still, what's your point? So, he wasn't there on Tuesday. It wasn't because he got grounded. He chose to not go Tuesday, and chose to meet up with the team in Chicago.

There's no DaVinci Code revelation unless you're inferring that this is proof that you were right about something?

Mike Montgomery just struck out the side vs the Yankees.

Do we really need recaps of every individual inning of every former Royal in here? It's getting a little obsessive and old.

Unsmooth-Moment 07-17-2015 05:57 PM

Odorizzi through 2 scoreless guys.

Well, Carlos Febles is currently managing the Boston Red Sox Advanced A minor league system....

Okay, fine. Might as well cover this all in one post. Former Royals who have batted today. Let's obsess.

Melky Cabrera: 0-3
Emilio Bonifacio: 1-1
David DeJesus: 0-0, walk
Jimmy Paredes: 0-2
