Yes. And if that's the case, I'd rather him take as long as necessary to be right. Deal is there is no guarantee he'll even be the same player he was before the injury.

I remember when folks in Houston were wondering about Brian Cushing's return. Well, when he finally did return, he was nowhere near his former self. In fact, he's just now getting back to where he was and he's still not there. Of course his injury was more severe.

I don't really worry about him not ever getting back. That's rare these days.

I just hope he's back sooner than later this season.

He's talking out of his ass. If Paylor said anything along those lines it was probably a worst case sencario based on the original 6-12 month recovery time thing. This isn't something new.

I asked paylor myself on twitter a while back and he said his gut feeling was november/december, iirc.

Kind of like the tree that falls and doesn't make a sound.....

He would have less of an audience if all of you would stop quoting him and giving him exactly what he wants.

I looked back, Paylor said November but he's not sure

So just speculation.

Well, I'd say he has some kind of idea, being who he is

If we get Houston back by the time we play the panthers, we should be good.

Panthers
Bucs
Broncos
Falcons
Raiders
Titans
Broncos
Chargers

We will need him to help us push to a division title.

If Houston misses 8 games, I don't see them winning the division.

There it is.

Mr. Laz 08-22-2016 02:04 PM

Houston can't win games by himself, we need more pass rush than just him.

Ford looks like ass(even though he did try harder against the lambs)

If Hali isn't a stud this we are in trouble.

We need the constant pressure from the RDE/ROLB position to prevent the opp Oline from shifting and bring help wherever they need it.

The second the opp's Oline start picking up blitzing from Houston etc Sutton with buttpucker up and start play bend but don't break. We are pretty much dead if that happens because our secondary is weaker than last year.

Reid/Smith are too conservative to outscore people every week

If Ford can become serviceable, its definitely doable

The offense has looked razor sharp so far, they're poised to pick up some defensive slack this year IMO

Chiefs have a favorable schedule. @PIT, @OAK and @ IND are the tough games in the first half and we have a bye before one of those.

Broncos have a hell of a first month. A new QB with a bad OL vs Carolina, Indy and then at Cincy is gonna be tough.

Outside of the Charger game, have you see anything to indicate the Ford will be serviceable or better?
