We need to employ the slant pattern a lot this year. 2 big guys who can go over the middle, easy throw for Cassel and will open up TM for 30 yrd bomb in the middle.

Fixed

I still want Mallett, dammit. Move up in the second and snag him.

Ryan Leaf with less talent? No thanks.

I hope you guys are right about Baldwin. Watching those highlights makes me a bit concerned. People can spout 4.4 all they want, but he didn't look incredibly quick or fast on those clips. I AM NOT calling him a bust and I want him to do well. I still like the pick. Just giving my 2 cents. If we could pick up a speed receiver for the slot in the later rounds it would rock.

Todd Haley knows receivers, and Baldwin has elite physical gifts. He is a top pick if he plays in an offense that throws the ball all over the field.

Pick Powe and then pass on the rest, and it would still be a successful draft.

I hear you. I trust this front office so much more than the last.

Eh the fast WRs thing is overrated. Neither Boldin or Fitzgerald were especially fast, but they were the best tandem in recent years.

I'm friggin' stoked about Baldwin.

We're going to be a ball possession, run first team. It's nice to have a blazer but not as much of a need on our system as it would be in others.

NE already has 2 #1's next year, and I bet with #33 tommorrow they wind up with another one. That hoodie guy kinda knows what he's doing.

Ok. I just meant straight line speed is different than making cuts and dodging tacklers.
