KU Football sure is on the level of the Yankees and the Lakers! I heard Joe Girardi had his team practicing walk off Homerun celebrations in spring training.

The Lakers practiced last second three pointer celebration at the end of the game.

Signs of championship caliber teams right there!

For 99% of teams out there they are just another generic repeat of something that came before. Never having the ability to break through and accomplish something on the field.

KU basketball is championship level, not football. KU football is nowhere close to great and never has been. Championship level bball programs for Duke and Kentucky have not carried over to football, just like it hasn't at Kansas. KU football matters to nobody outside of Kansas.

Agreed. I'm talking about the overall impression of the school. KU Football gets unwarranted ridicule because of it's basketball success. It's something that is of national exposure.

Thus if HCCW does something silly there is unbalanced reaction from so many people.

I watched it online. Crist and Heaps throw the ball like no other KU QB I have seen. Pierson is fast and the WR that was converted to RB looked good.

We had one DE stand out.
