Players calling out refs when their call was justified will not end well.

I think what you're seeing is fans becoming less OK with NFL officials manipulating outcomes of games via timely (or not so timely/suspect) calls. Hindsight is 20/20, but the Chiefs tried to take the high road after last weeks CLEARLY ****ED UP AND BLOWN non-call, so this week they're going on record about the NFL official's ways and means to manipulate games.

Oh, we've been told that the blue line isn't official, so was he really offsides? :hmmm:

Yeah I mean we as fans can go nuts about it, no problem there at all.

I just worry of the repercussions the team may face later down the road when the catalyst was more than likely a legit call on a WR who sucks and didn't line up correctly.

As for the blue line. I will admit I'm not entirely clear on where the LOS is and if it comes out that he wasn't offside I'll obviously change my tune.

My eyes tell me he is, but I'm sure there are people going over it with a fine tooth comb and we'll find out for sure probably tomorrow.

Unless the league is as corrupt and manipulated as we've been told it isn't, what would there be to fear from a "totally fair and unbiased" officiating community? People can't have it both ways, if be critical of officials means they retaliate against you wasn't a reality for Manning or Brady, why would it be an issue here? Basically PMII and Andy pay a fine for being too honest and it's over, right? Or are the NFL's officiating crews the emotional assholes I think they are?

Actually, no. Juju was a big help on offense. Kelce has slowed significantly, and wasn't as banged up nor in love. (BTW, I think Kelce will retire after this season. Just a hunch.) And we had Milgram on defense who was a monster in there and shut things down.

We are several players short of a champion team. It's not going to happen this year. Just enjoy the ride.

Last year was the anomaly. Kelce was still at his peak and with Juju we had just enough with MVS seen as a genuine deep threat.

This year the roster isn't good enough. Hopefully I never hear about "balance" again with a Reid/Mahomes team because it was, is and always should be an offense first team. Weapons and protection and cobble together any old turd on defense.

Honestly though, I'm OK with it. I kinda expected this year would be more of a slog. As long as next year is the year of the offense it's all good.
