I would like to remind everybody that the last time the Chargers played the Patriots, they won 41-17 in Foxboro (2005). The last time the Chargers played the Patriots at Qualcomm the Chargers won 21-14 (2002). The last time the Chargers played the Patriots in the playoffs the Chargers won 55-10 (1964).

In San Diego, Marty Schottenheimer is Donnie Edwards' champion. Unfortunately for Edwards, Schottenheimer has virtually no credibility with A.J. Smith, who in the last month has given two backup San Diego linebackers (Matt Wilhelm and Stephen Cooper) new contracts, sealing Edwards' fate.
