For sake of conversation, who moves to the North?

I'm just throwing darts like most anyone else. Maybe move Iowa State to Division 2 and have 10 teams, no divisions? :D

@kbohls (Per Austin Am-Statesman), DeLoss Dodds met with coaches; Neb has no formal B10 invite but would take it; Colo in, BU out of P10. 6 minutes ago via Echofon

the Talking Can 06-09-2010 04:44 PM

this outcome has been more or less inevitable for years.....economics were always driving conferences onward and outward....

i wish i had the feeling that KU had done anything to prepare for it, even though they had little to offer....but it mostly looks like we sat on our thumbs and paid big Lew to steal exercise equipment....

So the Conference Championship is almost guaranteed to be Nebraska vs. either Michigan, OSU or PSU every year.

Oh and if Nebraska darts, the Big XII should get on the phone with Texas Christian.

I'd actually go w/ the biggest revenue producing football school from the WAC or Mountain West and poach them. TCU gives no more TV sets. Going west does.

?

You apparently haven't watched Nebraska football the last 10 years. Pretty sure Iowa would have Nebraska's #

If this holds true, it'll be KU, MU, KSU, ISU, and Baylor left in the Big XII. Holy shit. Beebe needs to do something to grab some teams like TCU, Houston, Utah, BYU, etc. and attempt to save the conference and be proactive instead of letting the remnants get picked apart. Hell, at least extend some invites before Nebraska makes things official.

Or he can continue fiddling like ****ing Nero as our conference burns. What an incompetent toolshed that guy is. :cuss:
