My Pops called me this mormning. Seems he works with a guy who's son owns a gas station. Said he got a call from his supplier this morning, telling him his supply cost is going up 13 cents a gallon tomorrow.

Take that for what it's worth.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- President Michele Bachmann has a promise: $2 gas.

"Under President Bachmann you will see gasoline come down below $2 a gallon again," Bachmann told a crowd Tuesday in South Carolina. "That will happen."

Wow, politicians aren't even telling believable lies these days.

Saw 5 cents, which I wasn't expecting since crude dropped about $6 yesterday.

Saw 7 to 8 cents in Independence, went from $3.34 to $3.41/3.42 depending on where you filled up.

You guys should check out fuelly.com. you check in via text message (or log it from home) when you fill up with your odometer reading and how much you put in and it keeps some running stats for you.

Another thing you could do is buy a scangauge. Amazon sells them. It plugs into the OBD port on your car and gives you realtime stats.

The scangauge 2 also tells you a bunch of other stuff and can read and clear codes as well.

Donger thinks I'm full of shit, but Wednesday it was 3.37 near where I work and the next day it jumped to 3.65. I know this because I pass this store twice a day.

It's the same Speedway I mentioned before, Donger. Call them and check it out for yourself. :)

I don't doubt that you believe that you correctly saw and reported those prices.
