That said the Royals must win tomorrow and still have to pass TWO teams that are better than them. I feel like it would be stupid as hell if they trade for short term now...this team isn't built to win offensively.

I mean... if hosmer, moose, gordon, butler and salvy ALL go beast mode, MAYBE... but that's incredibly unlikely.

The Marlins are not trading Stanton. They view him as a cornerstone piece of their team.

The Santana deal is NOT all or nothing. Getting the pick at the end of the first round is not a terrible deal. Not that I think we are in it, Im just saying the decision isnt the end of the world.

That former GM on the danny parkins show said we should be selling Holland if we get a future 3/4/5 hitter (Detroit with Castellanos was the scenario he kept bringing up) and we should be selling Santana. (Sorry, I can't find the original post that had the link to the radio segment.)

If that happens, we would only have gaping holes in our lineup at 2B, RF, and possibly SS...

Cleveland is not a better team. Their whole season has been a fluke.
