I used to go clubbin' back in the day (Army days in Colorado Springs)...Monday nites at Shadows (at the Sheraton) was "Blue Mondays" (song by New Order--it was a techno-pop/funk/dance night)...they sold Long Islands and Long Beaches 2-for-1 all night long....and they made 'em right.

That's become my default drink of late.

I stopped by the place that use to carry generic "beer" today; they no longer carry it. But they said that another place (near the homeless shelter--I kid you not) still carries it.....I'm plannin' on a trip into that neighborhood...but it has to be during daylight hours, heh.

I'm not a vodka fan, but the house I just moved into, the previous owners left a still sealed bottle of absolute... been mixing it with everything I had, started with OJ, ran out, switched to fruit punch gatorade, ran out, switched to minute made cherry limeade, ran out... Vodka seems to taste about the damn same with whatever its mixed with... I prefer Crown and Coke though.

Shots = Jose or Jeger though, whiskey isn't a real good drink for shots in my opinion, Jack being preferred to Crown though when it comes to shots
