The state of the drivers after the race yesterday was shocking. Poor Logan Sargeant had to pull into the garage mid race and then could barely stand to get out of the car. Then after the race Albon and Stroll had the same level of exhaustion. Stroll said that the heat and the blood pressure dropping around high speed corner was causing their vision to go blurry and made then feel like they were passing out.

Yeah, one of the drivers noted that the tire limits actually made it far worse because they didn't have to worry about tire degradation so each lap was essentially treated like a qualifying lap.

So they were just pulling heavy G-loads at damn near every turn. Combined with creeping dehydration and yeah, the drivers were just wrecked at the end. Even the guys on the podium were subdued.

Seems to have taken it out of all of them, even the guys in the best shape. Ocon and Leclerc are usually fresh as a daisy after a race and those guys looked wrecked.

When guys are saying "Yeah, that one made Singapore feel easy" then you know you may have asked a bit too much and were lucky to get out of there with as little carnage as you did.

It reminded me of MMA fighters when they are in a tough weight cut before a fight and they come to the scale looking like death.

Max starts P6 tomorrow. Wonder which lap he’ll be P1 by?

By lap 15, I'm thinking. No one can keep up with the RB19 on the straights...at least when Max is driving.

The answer is lap 28.

Things looking good for Lando and Lewis. Max’s second mediums falling off.

Probably going to be tough but I would love to see the McLarens challenge Red Bull next year. Only intrigue left this year is what this Vegas race is going to look like.

Anyone watching Formula 1 from Vegas tonight? First F1 race in Las Vegas, for several decades, through the streets of the city no less. Cool to have midnight start time (CST).

Is it PPV or televised?

This is the first F1 race I've seen. Are the sparks normal, or is something jacked up with the track?

Pointer19 11-19-2023 12:08 AM

Also, who is Mahomes team's racer?
