Bowe ended up in Cleveland on a whopping 2 year deal. The discussion involving his worth and talent level is moot at this point.

He's worth a 2 year deal to the Browns.

End of story.

Meh. This kind of confirms what I've been saying about him. No one considers Him a #1 anymore. He's a decent #2 now. 700-800 yard guy who can get 900 on a real good year. That weed charge was one of the best things to happen to the Chiefs. Would have been OK with him coming back with a pay cut but not too bummed out that he's gone.

There were reasons he was not pursued by elite teams. Character and he rarely could he get separation and more often than not would drop critical 3rd down passes. What's it say to the rest of the league when you are the lone top dog WR and can't even muster 1 TD in a season whether it's between the 20's or in the redzone? Sure he always had the best corner on him and Alex was overly cautious BUT what does it really say that he could not muster 1 TD for the whole season? That's what the rest of the league noticed that D-Bowe could not dominate regardless of the situation for the $$ he wanted and why Clev and Jags will continue to be at the bottom of the barrell.

How has the subject not been dropped already?

Hey!!! I resigned him didn't I??

You've had ME to thank for the past 2 years of superior blocking from the WR position. That's part of the 'process'...to find the 'right 53.'

Is that a gum wrapper I see behind you?? I'm scared of those...

Dorsey and Reid gave Bowe the big contract, not Pioli.

If Bowe had a third of the work ethic of a guy like Larry Fitzgerald, he'd still be balling out for us.

Meh, all he needs is a gunslinger to bounce passes off his numbers to the waiting defender.

The funny thing about those who dislike Bowe act as if those of who do like him think he's elite. He's never been elite and none of us have ever said he was.

Remember, Hali also missed a game because of Marijuana.

No comparison, Hali has always been a max effort guy and his level of play has always been much higher.

Hali could have hit the market and made more than he took to stay in KC.

And the funny part is people constantly defending a guy they admit is an average level player.

Don't dislike him, outside his work ethic.

But I assume, then, you completely agree that his pending elite paycheck was unmerited.

What is the point of all of this? He's gone. You all got your wish.

If his work ethic was ever an issue, Dorsey would never have given him that contract.

I don't care what players are paid as long as it's not a crazy cap number like his was this year.

All the complaints of Bowe's salary and not playing up to it, what about Alex Smith?

We're defending a guy who gets bashed here, relentlessly, as if he was a shit bag like Larry Johnson.

100% Hyperbole.
