Teams would have to pick up his existing contract and I'm not sure there are many teams, if any, out there that would cut an existing player for a guy that had trouble with Sutton's system and terminology and did absolutely nothing in preseason to prove that he's NFL ready.

I've said all along that he's a Practice Squad player at best at this point, which comes with a substantially reduced price ($117k over 16 weeks) versus the $650k on his current deal.
