Now I’m all ears if we are talking AJ Brown....

De'Anthony Thomas was 5'8 176 lbs sopping wet how did that turn out?

I think he's to small for the NFL, one good hit by the linebacker and he'll be dazed and confused and hobbling to the sideline.

De' Anthony had moments of brilliance but certainly not enough and he fizzled out with an injury. That's who he reminds me of I'd rather not spend a first round pick on "Hollywood".

But, even if it boils down to a series of reasonable parenting classes and restrictions regarding who babysits for Damien, I don't expect the media to cut Tyreek any slack.

Agreed.:thumb:

But I have a bad feeling with all the "attention whore gotcha media" that permeates our society in every facet along with authorities and CPS that need to save face combined with a spineless NFL front office that caves to every cultural whim for appearances sake, that Hill will get a mild 'Adrian Peterson' wake up call with a 'mild suspension' (anywhere from 4-6 games). I use the term 'mild' because AP was charged whereas Hill has not been charged.

In this specific situation, the KC media has either used ominous headlines (and tweetage), conflation with past horrors committed by other Chiefs, and suggestive, titillating story leads to serve their interest. Or, they've packaged their sordid imputations in the form of pompous and sanctimonious "editorial opinion".

The NEW JOURNALISM of our day. Just damn sad !!

Somebody needs to creat a poll with what players we want from different positions.

That would be a great ****ing thread!!!

So I haven't read much if anything in this thread. Any actual news, or should I merge it with the original thread now in RR?

ROTOWORLD:

TYREEK HILL
WR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

The Kansas City Star reports Tyreek Hill's three-year-old son was "recently removed from the custody of Hill and the boy’s mother."
Per the Star, it "isn’t clear when the boy was removed, or who he is staying with now." The Star reports Hill and his fiancee, Crystal Espinal, have been "working through a family court process called a 'child in need of care' case." Two separate investigations into child abuse at Hill's home were opened across nine days in March. The second incident involved the alleged breaking of Hill's son's arm. Hill reported for the start of Chiefs voluntary workouts this week, but this is looking like a situation that will involve a lengthy suspension, outright release or both.

That’s horseshit and pure speculation.

It’s so obvious a lot of people heard about them losing custody, which is common/temporary, and are assuming guilt and the worst because they don’t understand what it means. The truth is, it’s likely he’s not going to be charged with anything, and they will eventually regain custody.

actual news,

The only thing we need news from is what comes out of Goodell's office at this point.

Like I said, I predict a 4-6 game suspension. Hopefully this does not happen.

Imagine one of Phillip River's kids breaks his arm, rumors spread quickly that Phillip himself was the cause. First thing an innocent man would do is hit the radio telling the true story of his son horsing around in the yard and tripping over etc, falling off the etc... if he were truly innocent, his family would be posting a supportive statement video, his PR specialist would be putting him out in front of the rumors, and Tyreek himself would have posted a video laughing about what a ridiculous mistake this whole story is. Instead he seems quiet, and lacking support from his family.
