I'm not a real soccer aficionado, but that looked like some sloppy play by both teams in the first half.

I agree OD....Seemed to me SKC had several unforced bad passes....

The sloppy play has a lot to do with tension in this game. Cup games can be pretty sloppy when both teams are trying so hard to make something happen. Overall, not a great representative of a "normal" game, but there's a lot of interesting things happening. One thing, Seattle's already used 2/3 subs and this game could easily go almost an hour after those subs came in..

one thing that's been a persistent ****le of mine is, our clearances, headers, and goal-kicks are routinely just 50-50 balls for the other team. I mean, I don't care if Nielsen just has to kick to a central defender, as long as we retain possession.
