When you commit crimes, apply for educational grants and/or when you get assaulted by a 'real' minority (i.e. someone further down the socioeconomic hierarchy than you).

Sorry - that's just how it works. The hispanics have been dealing with this for years.

You'll get used to it.

Well you all do sell all sorts of beauty products that help make you look "whiter".

We do? Lol, never seen that, but I wouldn't doubt it.

I agree. It's bs that he can just not play under his contract. It's a lot of money and he agreed to it. Jones is acting like a self-entitled punk.

Is Veach acting self entitled bc he agreed to a contract with Frank Clark and cut him before his contract was finished?

It was a lot of money and he agreed to it!

Really? Oh my, it's everywhere in practically every beauty shop in Korea (and there are a ton of them). I actually wondered why that was so common over there and found out that lighter skin implies a better life as traditionally well to do Koreans would not spend as much time outside, so their skin was lighter than the darker peasants.

Oh, I've heard of that. It's not just the lighter skin; being muscular is (or was) was also looked down upon as being "lower class." Lol.

Personally though, I don't frequent beauty salons, I don't even wear/buy cologne, unless it's a fancy event, like a wedding/funeral. Probably why I haven't seen any of that stuff.

Funny thing is I am the same way you are when it comes to that. They weren’t exactly beauty salons based on what I consider to be a beauty salon. They were just small stores that sell beauty products. I was stationed in Korea for a year about 5 or so years ago and couldn’t bring my family. Since I have a wife and two daughters, I would go into those stores and buy them all sorts of things and mail it back home. They loved it. I just remember unique things like goat milk cream, snail emulsion cream, cream with specks of real gold in it, black tea face wash etc….. I used to get my daughters who were much younger back then jars of hand cream shaped like animals and stuff. I think they still have the used jars.

I will say that those K-Pop guys seem to be all into that stuff as well as any of those Korean male models you saw in all the advertisements. Very light skinned and very make upped.

yeah. They actually have those little shops in every Asian supermarket now. Weird little jars of God-knows-what; I never looked too close, but I've seen them.

It's not the same thing though. That's part of the contract. The terms of the contract are what they are going in, the guaranteed and unguaranteed money is all spelled out. The player knows when they sign that they are not necessarily entitled to the unguaranteed money. Hell, half the time the money at the end of a contract is openly fake. Everybody knows he'll never see it, the player included.
