Actually he's not promoting a competing business. NFL teams, as businesses, don't compete. They work together as a part of a legally sanctioned cartel. So it would be like working at Taco Bell and wearing a Pizza Hut t-shirt while you were on vacation, except that Taco Bell and Pizza Hut actually do compete against each other.

Does that register to you?

It doesn't register to me because your rants have gone from silly overreactions to incomprehensible ravings.

That's a spot on comparison.

It is another sign of the changing times. People have lost respect.

Can you blame people for losing respect for the Chiefs, and by extension becoming jaded?

Lost respect for what, exactly?

The brand name that they've been assigned through the draft.

Miami Dolphins hat aside, I just really can't help disliking Kap. I hate his stupid, goofy looking face.

Kaepernick is going to be ripped on and hounded by the opposition in every game because of this too.

I agree, he should be.

I don't really give a shit about this, but I do have a hearty laugh at those "loyalty to the franchise" arguments.

As someone mentioned, the dude (as well as Russell Wilson) is playing for peanuts compared to what he could make on the open market. With the new CBA, he'll be forced to play out his baby ass contract while he likely takes his team on another deep playoff run. When this contract is up, assuming his arrow continues on its upward trend, the 9ers will offer him $10+ per year BECAUSE THEY'LL HAVE TO.

These franchises don't give a **** about the players. They use and abuse these guys then cut/ trade their ass whenever it's most convenient for them.

**** loyalty to a franchise in professional sports.

:) Pretty petty, I admit.

I don't know if there are any "Oz" geeks in here, but I can't help, but think about Omar when he said to Guerra:

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ly...6lyao1_400.jpg

Omar: "I just don't like you, man."

Guerra: "Oh you don't like me?"

Omar: "Yeah, I don't know if it's your hair, the way you look, the way you smell. It's just something about you rubs me the wrong way!"
