I came.

A couple of things some might have missed.

The guy who played Merideth's stripper son was the same actor who played her son in 'Take Your Daughter to Work Day' back in season 2.

The stripper at Dwight's bachelor party was the stripper in the warehouse, IIRC.

The chick showing Pam and Jim's house was Carol, who Michael dated, and Steve Carell married IRL.

The guy it appeared Pam was trying to shoo off the stage during the 'picture under the mural' scene, where she something like 'I thought just people who worked in the office. . . ' was show-runner Greg Daniels.

As a resident of Scranton, I'm sad to see it end.

Just about the entire cast came here 2 weeks ago and partied at a local bar on Friday and Saturday night. I didn't go but friends said they were just awesome people to be around.

ya, good finale. Great ending to a great show.

It was enormous. My friend owns a Limo company that had the contract to transport them all around. About 5k people packed downtown going crazy.

Packed into a half mile radius in a small downtown?

That's a lot of people. Actually, I just read it was around 10k.

If people actually regularly watched, i doubt they missed any of these except maybe the greg daniels part. The stripper was also in the episode where they did the fun run for the cure of rabbies. She dressed like a nurse and took a big check for science.

I think this might've been my favorite line of the show.

Yep, great line.

On par with the one last "that's what she said" for old time's sake. :)

It was a good ending. Better than most.

Some endings are not the best.
MASH-ok to a point-and I am a huge MASH fan
Seinfeld- ick.

I thought that was THE best.

My son is about to graduate high school, and I think he about teared up when he saw that.

I don't really get hooked into many series, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I thought they did a really good job of wrapping it up. They did a great job of using the documentary angle in that regard, by using the Q/A session and the last several minutes to reflect on the documentary. Those last several minutes were perfect reflections of each character in a way which they could also express their feelings about the show and even their lives... like Jenna Fischer, being an unknown actress prior to the show, flashing back to walking over the hot coals and talking about taking chances, etc. And Andy's quote that DaFace posted was great, too.

The only minor thing was that I really liked Robert California, and it would have been cool to see him again.
