Watched The Immortals on Netflix a week ago and despite the movie being... not good I thought Cavill did well and he will make an excellent looking superman. Good casting decision as far as similarities goes. I'm still not sold on the costume, it almost looks Tim Burtonesque. The one thing I'm looking forward to is seeing is Zod. Thought the concept was great in the second movie so now that they have the CG and over the top action sequences to make it look good I'm all for a Superman Zod fight in the middle of NYC.

I think Superman's a douchey, overpowered choir boy... but he can beat some ass.

I'm jumping the gun here, but I can't wait to see The Death of Superman storyline. Supes and Doomsday duking it out on the silver screen could be epic.

Still though, this looks like a Superman worthy of todays audience, its been a long time since i could say that about a Supes movie.

Considering the names in charge, its not surprising.
