That part of the King of the n00b archive history has been lost to the great server crash of 2006. If you can find evidence clarifying the Academy would welcome setting history straight and print up some new history textbooks.

I think it was sabotaged by the enemy to all things n00b, Phobia. as punishment to FAX for that great n00b revolt of 2004 that was subsequently crushed by Phobia.

I don't recall it being done in 2005 at all. I think you may have forgot that year.

I think that had to do with the fact that God (pbuh) was so disgusted with the way I was treated by Mr. Rain Man and Mr. Phobia that he actually caused time to stop for awhile, Mr. Bugeater.

I think the first year or two wasn't a strict Jan. 1st cut off date. That it went back a couple of months into the previous year.
