I only watched 2 games last year and haven't watched a game this year.

His arm is average? um wut? I wonder if all these negative reports are being put out as smoke screens by scouts of teams that will be trying to trade up for a QB.

Vandenberg, much like Jake Christensen, might as well be a robot under center.

No passion, no emotion, no fire. Mechanically, he's a pretty decent QB, emphasis on the word "mechanically".

Your OC was fail at Texas kinda surprised they hired him.

He wasn't really that bad. He looked great when they had talent and he looked mediocre when they didn't. That's part of being at UT, just ask Mack Brown.

The bigger issue to me is that, so far, the offense he's calling here looks nothing like the one he called at UT. In fact, it looks almost IDENTICAL to Ken O'Keefe's offense.

Part of that could be him adjusting to the players that are already here, though.

All in all, they look like every Kirk Ferentz team has looked when they have injuries/inexperience in the offensive and defensive lines. Those two units make the whole team go and always have. They're boring.
