Damn, hope he's not hurt. As much as it'd be nice to even things up if Duchene is down for a while, I really hope both of them are playing.

Duchene's out roughly 4 weeks. Some sort of knee sprain, though they weren't specific. :(

Could've been worse. If the Avs are able to make it through Chicago, he might play again this year, but it'll be iffy.

Game probably should have been 3-0 Philly, Blues win 1-0 in a shootout.

You can't leave your feet before making contact, but it looks to me like the contact came first (or at least simultaneous). Hit was also square to the shoulder - no head at all. It's a hard hit, but I don't think it was illegal (and the league apparently didn't either).

It's strange... the Blues are top 5 in GF this year and have the 2nd best goal differential in the league, but when I watch them, they look like the same old Blues. They've scored 0-1 goals 5 or 6 times in the past month and I'm sure those are the only times I've caught them lately.

Of course, that doesn't include all of the games against the Avalanche, as they go for the season sweep on Saturday, having outscored them 13-5 so far this year. :(

Ryan Miller looked ****ing awesome last night and has been since he joined the Blues. Even though the Preds will not be joining the Playoffs, there are going to be some epic matchups. Of course some matchups will be duds and some supposed to be duds will be epic. Its hard not to love the NHL Playoffs. Unless you team chokes out of it early.
