I'll admid I was rooting for Aly Raisman, the announcers were so blatantly rooting for Douglas, I had to cheer for the underdog.

I was a track guy. I still get uber nervous when I watch Track and Field, especially the sprints. I imagine it's the same.

Douglas finishes qualifying in 3rd overall, but doesn't get in b/c she's third in her country. That is a really stupid rule. The 21st-24th qualifiers from aren't going to contend for a medal.

Held getting emotional during the anthem was nice, too.

This is hilarious. By law, all large pools in Brazil must have lifeguards. So, there are a couple lifeguards carefully watching while the greatest swimmers in the world compete in the olympics.
