I think Veach put all the gauranteed money in the first 2 years. Probably gave him a hell of a signing bonus. Bet this years cap hit is decent while next years is $16 million and 2019 is >$16 million with a clean way out.

Well, I wouldn't say spending on the cap is based on an owners willingness to spend. Nobody actually cheats the cap. Dollars get accounted for one way or the other. As long as we hit the cap every year, Clark is spending as much as he can. It's more about being conservative or aggressive, and we've usually been too conservative.

Can you imagine the first play of the regular season....Andy says to Hill and Watkins....both of you run a fly pattern....Pat, the first guy 2 steps behind his receiver gets the pass.

Yep he will be off the books prior to extending Mahomes or Hunt.

The important thing is that other than some O line depth our franchise QB is wanting for nothing.

Well - they are signing Hitchens from Dallas. He can play. Pretty good run stuffing LB. So, it's a start!
