I've given KU a pretty hard time but, hell, they're probably not as bad as I think

They're one of Self's weaker teams, but to potentially clinch their 11th straight conference title with the league as solid (top to bottom) as it is has been a pretty incredible feat.

In the Hoiberg era, ISU has never finished higher than 3rd in the Big 12. But next year...

I don't think anybody is going to stop KU next year in the Big 12. They should be much better. Selden, Ellis, Mason, Greene, all back. With a chance that Oubre (I said chance, even if it's not very good) comes back. This team could be really good. We need a rim protector though. That is really what this team lacks. A rim protector that has a low post game.

Yep. And KU is still in on most of the top recruits left, most haven't committed.

This was the year to get us. Next year the race won't be close. Good luck, rest of field.

Reerun_KC 03-02-2015 07:48 PM

Next year we win our Big 12 by 2-3 games...

Meatloaf 03-02-2015 07:57 PM

Boys, it's nice to dream, but we haven't even won this year's title yet. Not wanting to rain on your parade.......but I think I just did. Sorry. I'll feel tons better after we beat WVA tomorrow night (or if our ISU brethren polish off OU tonight).

Reerun_KC 03-02-2015 07:58 PM

WVU strength is KU's weakness... The pressure and we fold like a cheap lawn chair under pressure...

I do think we win tomorrow, but it will most likely be a come from behind victory...
