Sutton's "scheme" used to be bend don't break. The D used to get turnovers.
Now it is bend and break, give up 3rd down after 3rd down, penalty after penalty, let your own offense not get enough possession time. This is likely the only D that simply can't make a critical play when the game is on the line.
The only silver lining I see is that no way Sutton is back.

I'm not even going to blame Sutton at this point. From this point I am blaming nobody but Andy Reid. As head coach he seemingly holds no accountability towards his defensive staff. He doesn't even pay attention to the defense when they are on the field. He is as much of a part of the problem as he is the answer.
