But Gonzaga has only lost to good teams minus the San Diego game and played the one of the most difficult non-conference schedules in the country. Nobody wants to play the zags this time of year despite their lackluster success in the tourney the last couple of years.

Hopefully the Zags put away Davidson as the first half winds down.

This points to a serious coaching deficiency, the layup drill is one of the most basic fundamental drills in basketball. There's a reason why the elite schools relentlessly practice this over and over right up to the last warmup before tip-off.
