I don't think he's ever going to be a top-tier QB, but he is a 26 year old who's proven that he can be adequate with an elite surrounding cast. So, um. Hmm.

That's pretty much where I'm at, too. While I'm not a big Cassel fan, getting him and Vrabel for a 2nd (which I still doubt) seems like really good value, and much less than I would have anticipated for any Cassel trade...

Not at RT. Right now we have Albert, who is a solid LT, and nothing at RT. Albert showed versatility in college, playing multiple positions along the OL effectively.

You don't have to fill the RT position with any permutation involving a #3 draft pick. My preference obviously is to leave Albert where he is.

I'm not going to convince anyone who doesn't want to be convinced.

If we paid a high second for him, it's because no one else thought he was worth anything higher.

We will live to regret passing on these two quarterbacks for a guy with mediocre talent who was in a perfect situation.

That's all I'll say.

Instead, though, I think that I will buy another BMW for $50,000. Then, I will take my old BMW and cut the roof of of it. That way I can have a BMW and a makeshift pickup truck for $95,000 instead of a BMW and a good pickup truck for $60,000.

Ha!

How many Super Bowls did we win or get to?

Now saying deal done.

If the FO/coaching staff agrees, then the pick will not be Monroe.

We'll grab DL, LB, or WR with the #3 overall

Clearly much better than staying at 12 and taking Drew Brees, as had been rumored.

Other than that, nothing.

Whatever happened to Clark Hunt saying that if we wanted to compete for a championship we had to draft and develop our own franchise quarterback?

Not to interrupt, but you may want to ease back on the throttle somewhat, Mr. 'Hamas' Jenkins. It sounds as though you're implying that Pioli and Haley don't know how to evaluate quarterbacks. Nothing, obviously, could be further from the truth.

omg STFU...

there is no difference between a 6th round pick and a 7th round pick...or an undrafted guy....who gives a shit about what round someone was picked in...it's amazing a guy who never started in college was even drafted in the first place...

You're a ****ing tool.
